NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is Now Available in Travel Size
What’s the worst thing about beauty samples? Right, they’re just so tiny! At best, they can help you determine if you will have a skin reaction to the formula, or if the shade is a good match for your complexion. At worst, you won’t even get enough product to cover half of your face. Well, that’s just not ideal, is it?
NARS is one of the brands that always offers pretty generous travel sizes for their best-selling products, such as lip crayons, blushes, and highlighters. At last, the mega-popular NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation ($24) now has its own travel-sized companion, too! Currently, the mini size is exclusive to Ulta and I don’t have any information on whether it will be available at other retailers anytime soon if ever. However, what we do know is that the 0.5oz bottle has all the best features of its big sister: heavy square glass bottle with a nice, functional pump to dispense the perfect amount each time without wasting a drop, and a fairly inclusive 25-shade range, which is uncommon for minis.
I have combination skin with dehydrated patches, so my face can be pretty finicky with foundations, but it loooves the look and feel of Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. It’s one of my all-time favorites among medium-to-full coverage formulas. I think it gives the skin the most gorgeous luminous glow, and natural, see-through finish, as long as you don’t use too much product. I never saw it oxidize on my skin either, probably because it doesn’t actually set on its own and will feel slightly creamy throughout the day, like a moisturizer, unless you deliberately dust it with setting powder.
Mini Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is perfect for more than just your travel makeup bag. If like me, you use different foundations on different days, it makes more sense to buy the smaller size so you can actually finish it before it expires. Or you’re someone who wants to invest in luxurious makeup products to use for the holidays or on special occasions, but the thought of paying nearly $50 for the full size makes you shudder. Half an ounce is still a lot of product, considering that a tiny drop will go a long way. Or you know, if we calculate the value of buying 2 minis vs one full-sized product, you’ll actually be saving a dollar. That’s like getting a free avocado at the grocery store or one of those Taco Bell spicy potato tacos. P.S.: I promise, I don’t count all my savings in tacos and avocados, haha!🥑🌮
