I’m one more review closer to wrapping up the pile of boxes I received in December. Today I want to show you the contents of controversial Wine & Cheese Memebox that got delayed several times, and in the end shipped without the Innisfree product that got replaced by a sheet mask and an apology letter. I think getting this box was still well worth it, mainly because I really wanted a full-sized jar of Dear by Enprani’s Bounce Cheese Cream.
HOW IT WORKS
Memebox Global is not a typical subscription service. They periodically curate boxes filled with assorted beauty products popular among Koreans, and those Limited Edition bundles are sold on first come first serve basis. Prices vary depending on the type of the box. Memebox ships internationally, so if you are in Canada, Australia, China or anywhere in Europe, you can get your hands on one of these, too.

LadyKin Mangchee Lifting Mask – This sleeping pack contains some of my most favorite things in beauty products: mango, cheese, and shea butter, and the mascot for this line is just so adorable! I usually don’t try new skincare right away when I already have several of the same type open, but I just had to open this mask.
How to use: Apply in the PM as a last step in your skincare routine and rinse off in the morning. Suitable for all skin types.
It was every bit as fabulous as I had hoped! The formula is very silky and creamy, and spread like a dream, giving my skin a beautiful glow in the morning. I’m not a fan of the way my face looks in the AM, but all of these fabulous sleeping packs that I got in various Memeboxes have been working miracles for my complexion.
LadyKin Mangchee Replenishing Hand Cream – This is another product from LadyKin’s Mangchee collection, and it also contains mango, cheese, and shea butter. I had an inkling to open it right away too, because I have this odd habit where I prefer to use products from the same line all at once, but had to restrain myself, because I have so many hand creams tucked away all over the place!
How to use: Apply hand cream to clean hands and massage into skin. Use as often as necessary. Suitable for all skin types.
It does look nice though, and judging from the ingredients, it should be good for cold weather. I think it might have to wait til next year though, because at this time I have plenty of other products to use.
Blanc Doux Pinot Noir UV Shield & Tone-Up Sensitive – Made from Pinot Noir, this wine-infused sunscreen is more than just a sunblock, according to Memebox product card. This moisturizer promises to combat uneven skin tone and texture, while providing strong sun protection.
How to use: Apply evenly over face instead of a primer, prior to applying makeup.
I like the idea of wine and grape-infused skincare, and always noticed pretty good results when using products with those ingredients. For example, Caudalie is one of my favorite brands, and they are known for their indulgent skin and body grape treatments, and I think they even make herbal tea now. Not too sure about the tea, but I think the rest of their lineup is definitely worth checking out, although they’re on a pricey side.
Dear by Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream – And here it is, the holiest of grails of moisturizers! I think this cream is simply amazing and works for literally every single skin type. It moisturizes and softens dry skin, rebalances oily and combination skin, calms irritated and sensitive skin, and helps with discolorations and fine lines for mature skin. Man, this stuff seriously rocks.
How to use: Apply to clean skin AM and PM after toner and serum. Suitable for all skin types.
I love that I can use Bounce Cheese Cream no matter what mood my skin is in. Whether it’s dehydrated, sensitive, irritated, extra oily, blemished, or just fine – I know I can always rely on this miraculous moisturizer to make it feel fabulous. And yes, I am using it already.
Tonymoly I’m REAL Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care x2 – Everyone received two of these lovely sheet masks. To be honest, I haven’t tried them yet but if they are anything like My Beauty Diary wine masks, then I’m probably going to like them.
How to use: Apply to clean skin for 15-20 minutes, take off the sheet and pat in the remaining essence. Suitable for all skin types.
Memebox card says that it’s also free of parabens, talc, benzophenon, tri-ethanolamide, and artificial colors. I wish we got to try more alcohol-free masks though, those would probably be the most popular among Meme-fans.
And finally, this is my consolation gift – a single sheet of Meme Mask. I also received 12 points, which were immediately spent on buying a Re:CIPE by Nature value set. I don’t know how everyone else here feels about it, but I was satisfied with the way Memebox handled the situation. I even heard they sent some ladies free Wine & Cheese boxes even after they canceled those orders.
THE VERDICT
I honestly think this was a fantastic box, even without the promised Innisfree product, which was replaced by a Meme Mask and 12 Memepoints. So far I loved all of the products that I actually used, and my gut tells me that the ones I didn’t get to try yet will probably be among my favorites as well. Take note, Memebox, we want more boxes like this!

This box looks great, I love all the skincare!
I think I have a jar of that bounce cheese moisturizer around here somewhere. I need to try it based on your glowing review, even if I have other stuff open! lol. I love Memebox, but I had to put the brakes on, since I’m drowning in skincare right now. Their boxes are so much fun, though, they are hard to resist!
