Memebox Skin Factory Mask Value Box

I go through sheet masks like they’re going out of style, and it seems like no matter how many I buy, I’m always short on them. At first I was into very fancy ones and could totally see myself spending over $10 for nice hydrogel or coconut sheets, but after all these years of constant trial and error it turns out that the secret is definitely in the serum itself. I stopped spending a small fortune on one-time use things, and instead look for great formulas now. That’s how Skin Factory Mask Value Box caught my attention – I tried their masks in the past and was very pleased with the result.

They periodically curate boxes filled with assorted beauty products popular among Koreans, and those Limited Edition bundles are sold on first come first serve basis. Prices vary depending on the type of the box. At this time Memebox ships to USA, China and Korea. All themed boxes tend to sell out fast, so by the time you read this review this particular box probably won’t be available for sale anymore. Click here to see available boxes.

One of them is so popular, over a million are sold each day in Korea! >> https://glamorable.com | via @glamorableThe box came with ten masks inside that represented five different mask types. The first one was Vega Vitaplex Ampoule Mask, which is one of Korea’s top selling sheet masks. If over a million of these is sold daily, this stuff has to be good, right? This multi-tasking formula is loaded with antioxidants, soothing, brightening, and anti-acne ingredients [Vitamin E, Vitamin C, panthenol, green tea seed oil] that address all of the skin concerns simultaneously.

It’s a great pick-me-up after prolonged sun exposure, so I added it to my stash of Summer must-haves. It contains ingredients like coconut oil, argan oil, castor oil, and chamomile extract, all known for their moisturizing, softening, and anti-inflammatory properties.

EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor, and Human Oligopeptide-1 in this mask is widely used in medicine to treat burns and open wounds. This particular formula works great for treating painful acne, post-sunburn skin recovery, or extreme dryness.

Made with long fiber cellulose, it’s drenched in moisturizing serum that contains Vitamin E, sea water, sweet almond oil, and Hyaluronic Acid. This is the most effective moisturizing mask the brand offers, and it promises to quench even the most parched skin.

It’s kind of a cool idea actually, because a lot of my friends don’t like using sheet masks because they slide off the skin and need to be constantly readjusted. This one is made for oily and combination skin and contains Salicylic Acid, bifida ferment lysate, and several herbal extracts to detoxify, re-balance and unclog the pores.

THE VERDICT: This box packed some great value, and all of the masks are amazing quality with ingredients that don’t disappoint. I’m glad I grabbed this one while it was available!

Ooooh this looks like something I’d love! The aqua one sounds perfect for my dry skin.

    • July 28, 2015 / 11:39 am

It does sound good, doesn’t it? From personal experience, I think all of these masks hydrated my skin really well, even the Volcanic one, that’s actually meant for cleansing the pores. Koreans know a thing or two about hydration, that’s for sure.
