Baby Powder was the third Memebox Scentbox [well, technically it was second, based on the numbering, but I tried it last], with products featuring fragrances that remind us of that comforting scent that we remember from childhood, and usually associate with cleanliness. Just like the previous two Scentboxes I reviewed earlier, this one was just $15 + S&H and contained a mix of four full-sized and deluxe-sized products.
HOW IT WORKS
Memebox Global is not a typical subscription service. They periodically curate boxes filled with assorted beauty products popular among Koreans, and those Limited Edition bundles are sold on first come first serve basis. Prices vary depending on the type of the box. Memebox ships internationally, so make sure to check on their website and see if they ship in your country – chances are they do. All themed boxes tend to sell out fast, so by the time you read this review this particular box might not be available for sale anymore.

Evas Mimi Lauryne’s Perfume Soap in French Blossom – This has to be one of the best-smelling soaps I have used so far! The company says that their soaps feature an all-organic formula, rich in shea butter, olive oil, centella asiatica, and coconut milk, and infused with natural essential oils of Tarragon, Carnation and Linen blossom for fragrance. The bar is really soft to touch, mainly because it has so much shea butter and coconut milk in it; it produces very creamy foam that cleans the skin without leaving it tight and dry. The formula of this soap is gentle enough to use on your face.
Consensus Fabric Deodorizer Baby Powder – Consensus is a brand of premium household products in Korea, they make things like laundry detergent and counter cleaners. In this box, I received a travel-sized spray bottle of their fabric deodorizer scented with baby powder. This is not a room-spray type of product, it’s actually formulated to deeply penetrate the fabric and remove 99% of germs and mold. This is the perfect spray to use for items that have been sitting in the basement or garage for a long time, or if you got some used furniture that needs to be refreshed. It actually smells really nice!
Urban Lailly 7 Seconds Make-Up Booster – This might look like a moisturizer [and that’s what I thought it was at first], but this seafoam-colored concoction is actually a makeup primer. I applied it after toner and moisturizer, fully expecting that it will be too much product, but the formula set really quickly, making my complexion look matte while smoothing out the pores. It’s a water-based primer so it won’t work with silicone-loaded foundations. I used it with my water-based CC cream topped with pressed powder foundation, and that worked beautifully. This primer held up pretty well, it definitely kept my makeup intact much longer than a few others I used before. I could tell, because it normally shows in my eye area as well as the laugh lines, and with this one my concealer stayed creaseless several hours longer than it normally would.
Happy Fam Deo Fresh Baby Powder – I go through wet wipes pretty quickly, because I always use them to freshen up around lunch time, so this was a very practical and handy product to receive. I like the texture of wipes themselves, it’s very soft and almost feels like cotton.
THE VERDICT
Well, this review wraps up my experience with Memebox Scentboxes that were sent to date. I really liked all of the products in this box, and I already plan on purchasing more of that fabric spray from eBay.
Memebox recently released three more Scentboxes [I wrote about them here], but this time around I didn’t buy all of them. I only got the Sweet Shop box [love the smell of cupcakes and candy!], mainly because I’m seriously way too loaded on Tropical-scented products, and the wrong kinds of florals can give me a bad headache. As much as I wish that all three of those newly released boxes were something I could use, I’m glad I ended up saving some money in the end. What about you, did you pick up any of those?

Urban Lailly 7 Seconds Make-Up Booster sounds great!
Nice collection of items!!!
i do love wipes! i buy them way to often!
This is probably the funniest theme I’ve ever seen for a box. It’s also probably the box I’m least likely to buy because I don’t like the smell of baby powder.
I just received some of my Memeboxes, but I didn’t pick up any of the Scentboxes. I’m obsessed with Korean products now. One of my faves I’ve been using now is a hair serum from the Fermented box. I put it on at night, and in the morning, my hair feels so soft! Oh, and the snail stuff, too. Awesome stuff.
the perfume soap bar packaging is so cute! I totally want it!
What a beautiful box!
I love how carefully curated these Memeboxes are!
I’m totally in love with all of these boxes you’ve posted – how can one possibly choose?
