I usually write a couple sentences as an intro, but I seriously couldn’t think of one here. I mean, it’s a Cute themed Memebox, and it was in my cart about 0.758997987 [give or take] seconds after I received the email announcing its arrival in the Memeshop. I love cute stuff. End of story. Now let’s see if Memebox shares my aesthetics in this box breakdown.
HOW IT WORKS
Memebox Global is not a typical subscription service. They periodically curate boxes filled with assorted beauty products popular among Koreans, and those Limited Edition bundles are sold on first come first serve basis. Prices vary depending on the type of the box. Memebox ships internationally, so make sure to check on their website and see if they ship in your country – chances are they do. All themed boxes tend to sell out fast, so by the time you read this review this particular box might not be available for sale anymore.

Memebox (미미박스) Superbox #41 My Cute Wishlist – contents |
Pure Smile Neco Punch Point Pad in Hibiscus and Lemongrass – D’aww, aren’t these little mask patches the cutest? We got similar patches in the latest Mask Box that looked like orange slices, and at first I didn’t really “get” them, but after a while I started noticing a difference to areas I applied them to.

I used them on my cheeks where I have discolorations, like a few sun spots and acne scars, and they seemed to have brightened those considerably. I know from experience that Vitamin C products like serums and creams would do that, but didn’t think a mask is nearly as effective. Well, looks like I was wrong! I saved the container from those orange pads, and will put these pads into it now, to prevent them from drying out.
Beauty People Snow White Special Edition Season 2 – Love that cranky snow white on the tin, she’s so cute! The tin houses five shimmery gel pencil eyeliners in black, brown, bronze, gold, and beige. The quality is comparable to Makeon eyeliners, which are a favorite among Korean cosmetics fans.

I just have to say that I really like the way these eyeliners blend together. The colors look very pretty when layered one on top of another, and with some practice I could even achieve an intricate gradient effect. They are also waterproof and smudgeproof, making them a great pick for oily eyelids.
a;t fox Moisturizer Cupcakes |
a;t fox Moisturizing Gel Cream Gyoolpy Tea – If this isn’t the cutest sample packaging, I don’t know what is! I mean, it’s an adorable cupcake, with a little heart topper. You did well, Memebox! And to make things even better, they included not one but three cupcake samples with different products inside. This little treat is filled with moisturizing gel-cream with gyoolpy tea extract, rich in vitamin C, so it has brightening and antioxidant properties.
a;t fox Whitening Capsule Cream Jasoyup Herb Tea – This gel cream combines moisturizing gel with skin brightening capsules, and even though it sounds the same as the previous cupcake, the smell and feel of this formula are very different.
a;t fox Lifting Cream Black Tea – This moisturizer is the richest of the bunch, and according to my product card, it provides lifting and firming effect. I have to mention that all three of these moisturizers are heavily scented, and while I’m usually bothered by strong fragrances, these didn’t irritate me much.
Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick in Sour Lemon Candy – I’m so glad I got this box! I’ve seen bloggers raving about these lip balms, and always wanted to try one, and now I finally have the chance. The packaging is just adorable, isn’t it? The lip balm itself is actually pretty good, way better than I expected, but I still prefer my Burt’s Bees I think.

My Memebox card says these balms are enriched with bilberry, sugar cane, maple, orange, and lemon extracts, and provide a lip tint effect when used. I expected my lips to turn yellow or something, based on the look of that stick, but instead I got a very pretty pink color that looked very natural. I think this is going to be my purse staple.
Pure Smile Muddy Girl in Red Clay – I just got a mask in a pod in my August Birchbox, and now this one in a Memebox. I have to say, I really like these single-use masks, because I know I’m slathering on a fresh batch every time.
Pure Smile Muddy Girl in Red Clay |
Memebox card describes these masks very simply – it’s a clay, mud, and charcoal mix that thoroughly cleanses the skin and draws out impurities from deep within the pores. Most of us used similar masks, and I felt like this one wasn’t any special. It comes in cute heart-shaped packaging, and that’s about the only difference. Totally fits the theme here! 🙂
Kocostar Split End Therapy – I wasn’t sure why Memebox decided this belongs in a cute box, but I looked up the reviews, and the actual product is actually kind of cute. It’s a hair wrap that you tie to a ponytail with the rest of your hair inside the wrap.
Kocostar Split End Therapy |
The cute part? It has polkadot pattern so it almost looks like wearing my hair wrapped in a scarf. I didn’t have a chance to use this mask yet, but hopefully I will like it. I have really dry ends, and maybe it can help with that.
Etude House Missing U Hand Cream – Last but totally not least, this is one of the cutest hand creams ever. These creams are formulated without sulfates, parabens, artificial dyes, or alcohol, so they are suitable for people with dry and sensitive skin.
Etude House Missing U Hand Cream |
Missing U series features products that represent an endangered species, and with each product sold, Etude House makes a donation to the appropriate conservation fund. In case you are wondering, my cream represents harp seals, but there were three others sent out that feature pandas, pink dolphins, and fairy penguins.
THE VERDICT
This box was loaded with cute things, and I really enjoyed every product. I am also thrilled that the packaging is reusable, for instance, those cupcakes and an empty penguin jar would make fun toys for kids to play with. I can already picture some little girl having the cutest tea party ever 🙂 In case you are wondering, my favorites in this box were Etude House hand cream, a;t Gel Cream [orange cupcake], and the eyeliners. I thought this was a well-rounded box; it included products for face, lips, hands, and hair, and some makeup, too.

I’ve been watching the Memebox phenomenon for a while but it took reading some of your reviews on the super cute boxes to light the fire. I just ordered three boxes! None are shipping until October so we’ll see what they bring but they look like they should be incredibly adorable! Also, hope you’re enjoying your visit with your mom!
Enjoy your new Memebox addiction! Trust me, it’s very hard to stop once you try Korean products. Their skincare is top notch! And thank you, I am enjoying spending time with my Mom; I know will miss her so much when she goes back home 🙂
