Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System

pr sample

Let’s welcome a brand new name on the beauty Olympus – Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System. It’s designed to provide salon-quality results in the comfort of your own home, with noticeable results after as little as two minutes of use. Sounds promising, doesn’t it? I had the opportunity to be among the first to try this new tool, and would love to share my first impressions with you.

First of all, what is Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System?

The Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System, a safe, painless and non-invasive way to quickly and easily improve the appearance of aging skin. The Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System utilizes isometric compression combined with ultra-low frequency sonic vibrations to gently stimulate and tone skin for a more youthful looking appearance. – Conture

The device is designed for people struggling with loss of firmness, or those like me who are predisposed to it. My aesthetician recommended going for facial massages at least once a week to prevent the inevitable sagging, but let’s be honest here, very few of us have the time and money to do so. While Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System is not exactly cheap, in the end it will pay for itself many times over by replacing the massaging hands of a salon specialist.

How do I use the device?

1 // Start with clean skin by removing all traces of makeup and skincare from your face by using a mild soap or a gentle cleanser.

2 // Apply Kinetic Treatment Serum, followed by Kinetic AM Ignition Lotion or Kinetic PM Recovery Crème over the treatment zones.

3 // Gently dab the power button on the touchscreen and select the mode you want to use. FACE setting fits most complexions.

4 // Move the device slowly upward, and make sure that your skin has constant contact with the vacuum tip. It’s best to treat each zone for 2-3 minutes minimum to see optimal results.

5 // Use daily AM and PM to reveal your best skin in years!

I’ve had my device for a week, but the positive changes were noticeable already after the very first treatment. I’ve been using Conture in the AM after washing my face, and in the PM while cooking dinner. Odd timing to do a beauty treatment, isn’t it? But for me it worked really well, because I could stir with one hand and use the other one to glide the device across my skin. So really, this isn’t one of those products that want you to stop everything you’re doing and dedicate time to it; this is truly an “on-the-go” beauty tool perfectly adapted for a modern woman’s busy life.

It’s been a while since I last visited a salon for a facial massage, but Conture feels exactly like those gentle pinching and dragging motions you’d expect to pay hundreds of dollars per visit for. I was also impressed that Kinetic Treatment Serum, Kinetic AM Ignition Lotion, and Kinetic PM Recovery Crème weren’t just random sidekicks, but really powerful enhancers of the whole process. For the sake of the experiment I tried using Conture on dry skin without applying those products, and I definitely had a worse experience with less apparent lifting results. Long story short: picking up some Conture skincare along with your new device is a good idea.

What makes this serum and cremes so good?

Kinetic Treatment Serum – A complete anti-wrinkle serum formulated with the revolutionary peptide SNAP-8, which has been clinically proven to reduce crow’s feet alone by up to 63%.

Kinetic AM Ignition Lotion – A daily use moisturizing, anti-age lotion designed for all skin types. This lightweight, yet intensive moisturizer hydrates skin while helping the skin retain essential moisture.

Kinetic PM Recovery Crème – An intensive night creme that helps the skin recover while you sleep. Featuring a unique blend of encapsulated Retinol, Longevicell, and Adaptonyl that together dramatically improve skin barrier function and the skins own ability to remain healthy and at peak performance.

In other words, they each can be used without the device as part of your regular beauty routine, but they will truly shine when paired with Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System. Alternatively, you can use your own serums and creams, but keep in mind that clinical trial results were observed with the brand’s own products, so there’s no guarantee your own skincare will work as well.

The device can be charged via most standard USB ports or a wall outlet. For safety reasons Conture will not turn on while charging, which makes sense since it’s very easy to accidentally push the button. A glowing green button on the touchscreen will indicate that the device is charging.

There are two treatment cups in the kit: STANDARD cup and FOCUS cup, designed to provide additional options for the coverage area. STANDARD cup is best suited for the neckline and decollete, while FOCUS cup shines when it’s used for crow’s feet and wrinkles. To remove a cup, hold the device in one hand and gently pull the treatment cup off. Conture recommends replacing cups roughly every 90 days, depending on how often you use them, so it’s pretty much like replacing your sonic brush heads every so often.

I feel like this review got too wordy, so I’ll wrap up with the bottom line that I thoroughly enjoyed using  Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System and will continue with my regular daily treatments. I think I will update this post with my final thoughts after 2-3 months to let you know how it fared in the long run, but so far I’m impressed!

WHERE TO BUY: $249 USD. Available at Conture.

I am a sucker for at-home facial devices such as this one. I haven’t had a professional facial in ages because for some reason they always give me breakouts.

I love a good beauty device, too, but I end up using some of them more often than others. Is it like that for you, too?

I always like a good facial, but it’s too pricey for me to do regularly.

I just seen this in a magazine I believe and already had been swooning over it. I think gadgets are so fun to use but definitely something essential for skin care if they work. I want this.

    • December 18, 2015 / 7:03 pm

For sure! Some gadgets were gimmicks more than anything, but I have high hopes for Conture based on my first experience.

I’ve been using Clarisonic for cleansing which is great for removing makeup, dead skin cells, especially for oily skin like mine. Also have microabrasion device however, causes bad skin rashes. Although I’m past 60 yrs old, I’m told I look 10 yrs younger, therefore I really would like to try this system and see if it would help the jawl area from getting more saggy and help out a few fine lines. I promise to give a honest review.

can you give us an update?

    • September 6, 2016 / 5:07 pm

Absolutely! At this time I stopped using Conture (got lazy after about 3 months to be honest with you), but I definitely saw an improvement. The most noticeable change was seen between my eyebrows where my first 11 lines started forming and now they’re gone – not even the tiny creases remain. For the other areas I treated (crow’s feet, laugh lines, neck) I saw some improvement, but the lines didn’t completely go away. They’re definitely less visible now though.

      Hi Carmen,

Thank you for your comment! I appreciate everybody’s feedback, whether it’s positive or negative. And I am sorry that you had a bad experience with dishonest bloggers in the past. Rest assured, all paid reviews on this website are disclosed as such and I received no monetary compensation for this one.

This review (from over 2 years ago, mind you) was written in good faith after using the product on my own face. On this blog I share my honest opinions and experiences with beauty products, and mine just happened to be a positive one.

As for your remark about me being ignorant, well… I wish I was more knowledgeable, but we don’t know what we don’t know 🙂

      Have a wonderful 2018, love!

      xx,
      Anastasia
