I took advantage of some discount code and grabbed the May Love With Food box. Glad I did, because the theme this month – “Derby Days” – sounds like fun! Subscribers received a box packed with all sorts of healthy snacks to keep us going until we cross the finish line.

One Potato Two Potato Sweet Potato Chips |
One Potato Two Potato Sweet Potato Chips – These chips were super crunchy and full of flavor, and those two little potato mascots look so cute and bright, I bet kids would love this kind of packaging. This is definitely a good snack for a sweet potato lover.
J&M Key Lime Cookies |
J&M Key Lime Cookies – I luuuurve these cookies, and I buy them quite often. These are my favorite packaged key lime cookies, and I can’t imagine not having them around. I was happy to receive one more pack to add to my stash. To be fair, I kind of ate it all right after taking that picture 😉
Le Caramel Sea Salt Caramels |
Le Caramel Sea Salt Caramels – Always nice to have a few caramels in the pantry for those days when I need a little sweet pick-me-up. I tried one of these so far, and it was chewy and deliciously salty-sweet, just like a proper sea salt caramel should be.
Flavrz Organic Tropical Peach Drink Mix |
Flavrz Organic Tropical Peach Drink Mix – To be honest, I didn’t try this mix yet, but I sampled this same product in a different flavor before, and it tasted just like the real thing! I like that it’s organic and doesn’t contain any of that chemical junk, so it’s suitable even for kids.
Giddy Up & Go Granola |
Giddy Up & Go Granola – This granola mix was delicious; it worked really well in a salad and mixed with greek yogurt and fruit. I think so far all of the granola mixes I tried were crunchy, but this one was nice and chewy, and had that “freshly cooked” feeling to it.
Revolution Tea |
Revolution Tea – I received a variety pack with three flavors to try: Honeybush Caramel, Southern Mint, and Tropical Green Tea. I drink tea daily, and always on the lookout for different blends and flavors to add to my tea library, so I was happy to give it a go. The mint tea tasted just like any other mint tea, so I probably wouldn’t spend extra to buy this one. Honeybush Caramel has a very strong rooibos flavor, which I’m personally not a fan of, so that’s another one I won’t be getting. Tropical Gren, however, was delicious. It was different from green teas I normally drink, and tasted more like an oolong.
Terre Di Puglia Tarallino Snack |
Terre Di Puglia Tarallino Snack – These pretzel-looking snacklets were crunchy and satisfying, but a little on the dry side. My husband and I shared this pouch while watching a show, and even though he normally doesn’t like pretzels, he seemed to enjoy eating these.
The Spice Lab Hickory Smoked Sea Salt & Italian Black Truffle Salt |
The Spice Lab Hickory Smoked Sea Salt & Italian Black Truffle Salt – Even though I got two tiny sample pouches, that amount was enough to make me want to buy full-sized versions of both salts. The truffle one actually smells like truffles, and the aroma is very strong, unlike some other salts that are supposed to contain truffle. Hickory smoked salt worked really well rubbed into a steak, just as you’d expect. I bet both of these would also work well for omelettes and sprinkled over pop corn.
THE VERDICT
It’s nice to get a Love With Food box once in a while, especially when there’s a discount, because I always get introduced to new snacks. This time I discovered those delicious salts, which I have been avoiding because I thought they were the same bland types as some other flavored varieties I tried. They can often be found at my local TJ Maxx and I plan to pick up a few.

Let us follow each other 🙂
Too bad they don’t ship to your country 🙁 It’s a pretty good subscription service for snacks, and for each box they sell they donate a meal to charity. I hope one day they offer international shipping so people around the world can try it, too.
