Love Goodly April/May 2017 Box Review

Good news, guys! Per your request, I am permanently expanding my blog to include more clean and non-toxic beauty & lifestyle products. Today I wanted to share my belated review of Love Goodly April/May Love box, which is unfortunately already sold out. Sorry about that! 🙁 I never go into too much detail about my personal life on this blog, but the past couple of months have been pretty rough. I had to force myself to blog, and still barely managed to squeeze out 2-3 articles per week. May is the official Mental Health Awareness Month in the US, so I used it as an opportunity to start taking better care of my emotional state, even with all the sh*t that has been happening behind closed doors. It’s so easy to assume that someone leads a carefree and happy life, but you just never know. My family and friends have no idea what I’ve been dealing with, nor do I want them to. I’m all better now. But I digress…

HOW IT WORKS:

For $29.95 Love Goodly box subscribers will receive a curated selection of eco-friendly, vegan, & natural products delivered every other month. Single boxes also available for $35. Click here to subscribe.

Love Goodly April/May 2017 Box Review - 100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask Love Goodly April/May 2017 Box Review | PureSol Conjac Body Sponge Love Goodly April/May 2017 Box Review - One Love Organics Love Springs Eternal Youth Preservation Serum

Even though you can no longer get this specific box, it will give you a pretty good idea what to expect from this subscription service. Love Goodly team sent me a sneak peek of their upcoming June/July box, and even though I can’t reveal the contents just yet, I assure you that it’s a fabulous one, and very season-appropriate. So far Love Goodly shared two spoilers on their Instagram channel, go check them out if you want to see what’s coming! June/July box will contain 5 items in total, and one of them has been on my Sephora wishlist for a while. 🙂

Without further ado, here are the products that came in my Love Goodly April/May Box!

CONTENTS:

1 // One Love Organics Love Springs Eternal Youth Preservation Serum [$75 value] – First of all, holy moly, are we really getting a full-sized $75 serum in a $30 box? That’s amazing! OLO was on my radar for at least 5 years or so, and I actually purchased their sample kits for traveling. The brand’s best-selling Skin Savior balm was the first product of its kind that I really fell in love with. This serum-oil is all sorts of fabulous, too. It contains several skin-loving botanicals, including exotic Blue Seakale, and protein-rich sea algae, to deeply moisturize, tone, and increase firmness. The serum is lightly scented with jasmine extract, which makes it extra soothing and perfect for my nighttime routine.

2 // 100% Pure Maracuja Mascara Black Tea [$25 value] – This is not my favorite green mascara, but I would say it’s the best plant-based formula I’ve tried. There are a lot of clean and non-toxic mineral mascaras to choose from, but for some reason it’s really hard to nail that botanical base. If you really want to try some 100% Pure makeup, I highly recommend their highlighters, blushes, lipsticks, and brow gel. If you want to see Maracuja Mascara in action, check out this blog post from a few weeks back.

3 // PureSol Conjac Body Sponge [$13 value] – I love this konjac sponge; it’s a great alternative for washcloths that can be too harsh on the skin, especially with resurfacing acids as part of my daily skincare routine. The size of the sponge is perfect for using it on my face and body. It feels very gentle and not scrubby at all, but when I dry my skin, it always feels very smooth and exfoliated.

4 // 100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask [$7 value] – I tried these eye masks before, and they are wonderful! A little pricey for just one pair, but I could see using these as an occasional treat before special events or whenever I want to look my best. The patches are made with 95% organic aloe water and 5% plant cellulose, and the longer you wear them, the thinner they get as the moisture from the hydrogels is absorbed by the skin. 100% Pure says these eye patches can help brighten and depuff the delicate eye area, and in my experience, they do just that. I really have nothing bad to say about these, other than the price point, because I selfishly wish I could use them every day just because. 🙂

Love Goodly April/May 2017 Box Review

BOTTOM LINE:

Love Goodly April/May box was one of the best I’ve seen, and I am still enjoying these wonderful products weeks after I first tried them. The subscribers received over $125 value for just $29.95; talk about a great deal! If you are into clean, non-toxic, and vegan subscription boxes, I highly recommend checking out Love Goodly. Like I said above, the June/July box will contain 5 full-sized products, and you can take a peek at some of the spoilers here.

Every Love Goodly box benefits a charitable cause, and the April/May box gives back to Farm Sanctuary, a leading farm animal protection organization.
