It’s finally time to review my September Juniper box! So, I unwrap the signature green tissue paper and what do I see? O… M… G… Say it with me, ladies, the magic word – CHOCOLATE! Seriously, this month we got a box full of chocolatey treats! Yep, I think this is definitely my favorite selection so far, and after checking out other bloggers’ raving reviews, looks like I’m not alone in my excitement 🙂

Mighty Leaf Tea and Nature’s Kick Honey Sticks
Some of you might know that I’m a tea snob, and I believe that Mighty Leaf makes some of the highest quality tea pouches. They contain actual leaf tea instead of the dust that we often find in cheap tea bags, plus they don’t contain any glue or staples. So far I only enjoyed the White Orchard pouch, and it was delicious! And of course, our Juniper boxes wouldn’t be complete without honey sticks. This time they include Chocolate Honey, Caramel Agave, and Wildflower varieties.
Bart’s Extreme Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies really tasted homemade, and they were surprisingly soft in the middle, too. I shared a couple with my husband (aka our resident cookie expert) and they got his seal of approval, which says a lot about the taste and the quality.
Sasso Bar
This is the adult version of Milky Way, which I loved a kid. Sasso Bars elevates my childhood favorite to a whole new level by using only the finest all-natural ingredients, and covering it all with a nice thick layer of high-quality dark chocolate. Delish!!
Almond Toffee Talk
I’m glad that I got the almond variety, because almonds are my favorite nuts 🙂 This toffee bark was probably the most delicious one I’ve ever tried, and certainly the fanciest! I went to the website to check out more options, and they have this very cute 3oz gift sampler for just $6, so I thought I’ll order some as stocking stuffers for Christmas 🙂 You can even pick the ribbon colors and the custom message!
New Tree Chocolate Leaves
I really appreciate that Lynn sent us a variety of chocolate flavors this month, and especially I’m impressed with the these little leaflets. We got eight delicious bite-sized individually-packed mini chocolates in Dark, Milk, Lavender, Ginger, Belgian Biscuit, Almonds, Blackcurrant, and Cinnamon. The candy was clearly high quality, but some flavors really stood out: ginger was absolutely delicious; lavender had the fragrance, but none of the expected flavor; and belgian bisquit contained some surprising crunchy cookie bits 🙂
Girly Goodies
Everything was just as I ordered, no surprises there 🙂 The box was white instead of golden, which affects nothing, really. I’m thinking white boxes are probably cheaper, hence the change.
The verdict: The September box was absolutely deliciously awesome – so many chocolatey treats, and everything is very high quality! Juniper makes me look forward to my period every month, and I can’t wait to see what amazing treats we will discover in October 🙂

Given you got this for free but $28 for only $18.06 worth of stuff doesn’t sound too good to me
If you’re looking for value, then I wouldn’t recommend any of the TOM boxes for you, Jaclyn 🙂 I see them as convenient luxury essentials, kind of like buying a fancy $20 body wash and getting it delivered to you regularly instead of going to the drugstore and buying a cheap one for $2. Think about it, if I didn’t do the retail value breakdown, would you be interested?
All of those teas sound AMAZING! Actually, all of the goodies you got sound amazing. Pampering a woman at that time of the month is definitely a genius idea.
A box full of chocolate, what could be better? 🙂
