Bleach or Bare? With Jolen Beauty Products the Choice is Yours!

I’m not ashamed to admit that as someone who only recently moved to the US, I was not familiar with Jolen, which seems to be a household beauty staple for many generations of women across the country, and there’s no better way of learning about it than to experience it firsthand. I recently had the opportunity to try the classic Jolen™ Creme Bleach and the new Jolen™ Facial Hair Remover Kit, that provide two different ways to manage unwanted hair: hide it or remove it all together – the choice is yours!

I feel like my skin just feels so nice and smooth when it’s either freshly shaved or waxed, but shaving every day is kind of annoying, and waxing is painful, so hair removal cream is my ideal middle ground.

It contains Skin Guarding Balm to prepare the skin for hair removal; Hair Removal Cream that quickly removes any unwanted hair from your face; and Cleanse & Soothe Wipes to wipe away the removal cream, loose hair, and any residue, while soothing and conditioning the skin. Dermatologist-tested and proven to work for all hair types, Jolen™ Facial Hair Remover Kit works in just 8 minutes. I don’t know about you, but I think that I can totally spare eight minutes for easy hair removal instead of putting up with the pain and irritation from waxing.

My skin looks noticeably brighter and cleaner just from removing all that upper lip peach fuzz, and that helps my makeup go on more evenly.

It only takes 10 minutes to work, and the results last up to four weeks, so it’s kind of like waxing, but without the pain. Jolen™ Creme Bleach comes in two varieties: Original formula and Sensitive formula that includes aloe vera. I used the original formula, which worked just fine for my thin combination skin, but now I kind of want to try the sensitive formula, too.

As silly it might sound, but it gives me a nice boost of confidence, akin to a new haircut, or a freshly painted mani. Currently one of my biggest goals is weight loss, so Jolen provided me with an Under Armour Headband, as if saying “You go, get rid of that unwanted hair and those Winter pounds, you can do it, girl!” And you know what? I know I can! [off to conquer the treadmill after writing this post, no kidding]

I need to try this. I have a ‘stache I’m just scared to touch it.

Oh, then you definitely should try that Remover kit! My girl stache usually gets lighter after sun exposure, like in the pic above, but usually it’s noticeable enough so that I have to remove it or I look strange. This thing was super easy to use, 10 minutes tops and you’re done – no stinging or itching.
