IPSY Extra March 2026 Unboxing & Review
March is the month when the world celebrates International Women’s Day so I was curious to see if IPSY would send us a girlypop-coded box. Sure thing, this month’s Extra box is appropriately named “Do Less, Glow More” and comes packed full with products that promote effortless beauty and make our natural features shine. It’s time to slow down, meditate, and find your bliss in the moments that ground you.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each month, as an IPSY Extra (formerly Boxycharm) subscriber, you will receive a new box with a mix of 5 full-sized beauty products, customized according to your beauty profile. Members can watch videos and play along with the stylists, all for only $32/month (up to $200 value). Click here to check it out.
IN THE BOX:
1 // bareMinerals Mineralist Dewy Lip Gloss-Balm in Soul ($25) – Soul is a beautiful neutral mauve shade that will look good on everyone – on my fair olive skin it transforms into a pretty rosy pink. It offers a sheer wash of color and glossy finish and wears like a lip balm. I like that it’s easy to reapply throughout the day and you don’t even need a mirror – as long as you sort of know where your mouth is, you’re good. This was my first time trying this particular bareMinerals formula, but it’s now one of my favorites. I’m actually eyeing more colors of this balm – it really is that good! 5/5
2 // Céla Masque De Glacier Clay Mask ($38) – Céla is a Canadian brand that makes skincare with unique local ingredients, like the glacial oceanic clay from the coast of British Columbia used in this mask. It’s a simple, but very effective mask for oily and combo skin that helps draw out gunk from the pores and make them appear visibly smaller after each use. It’s listed for $38 on the official site but you can buy it for just $12 on Amazon US! 4/5
3 // Korres Pure Greek Olive Body Cream Honey Pear ($32) – Very generous size and it’s such a fantastic product! A couple years ago my sister got me hooked on Korres body lotion and I’ve been a fan since. This one feels fantastic on the skin: smooth, silky, and delightfully fragrant. I never get sticky residue, it’s more of a smooth velvety finish. The formula is easy to spread so you naturally use less, making this already giant tube last even longer. And you can routinely find these on sale somewhere on the internet, so you don’t necessarily have to pay the full price. 5/5
4 // Paul Mitchell Heat Styling Spray ($25) – Oh wow, we even got some fancy salon haircare in this box! I’m not too familiar with Paul Mitchell products, but the couple things I tried in the past were fantastic. This heat protector spray seems to work pretty well for the intended purpose. I have fine and thin hair, and usually need something weightless to protect it from heat styling damage, but a lot of the products weigh it down. This formula is medium-weight so I tried my best to avoid overspraying, and it made my hair look sleek and smooth. It’s definitely possible to use too much, so if you have a hair like mine, be mindful and start with 2-3 sprays on areas that need it the most and go from there. 4/5
5 // COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($17.99) – I’m familiar with this essence and have used it on and off for close to a decade. It’s happens to be among my husband’s favorite kbeauty products, too. Snail mucin filtrate is a great humectant and helps seal in moisture, address with fine lines, redness, and post-acne marks. It works slowly and gently, not rapidly and aggressively like products with harsh actives aimed to achieve fast results. If that’s your vibe and you don’t mind the snail-y texture, give it a try! 5/5
BOTTOM LINE:
If you can’t already tell, I’m over the moon about this month’s box. What a fantastic collection of brands, and each product fits my beauty needs perfectly. I don’t know how well our Ipsy Extra March 2026 box fits the theme of effortless beauty, considering using these products literally requires some extra effort, but I love what we were sent! I wish more boxes were like this one, if you ask me. It’s hard to pick a single favorite, so I’ll pick two: the Korres body cream and the bareMinerals lippie. I just know I’ll be using them every single day until they are panned, but you honestly can’t go wrong with any of the other three. Well done, Ipsy!
