Incoco Nail Polish Applique Light as a Feather Swatches and Review

Normally I prefer using traditional nail polish rather than nail strips, but sometimes it’s just easier and less time consuming to apply some nail appliques, especially when I’m in a rush. The whole process takes me about 3-5 minutes for each hand, and I like that there’s no drying time, so I can literally be out and about without having to fear that my pretty new mani might get smudged.

I have tested quite a few brands of nail stickers, and I found Incoco Nail Appliques to be the best of the bunch. They lasted two full weeks on my nails without chipping while I was on vacation in Florida, and you can find before and after pictures by clicking here.

Light as a Feather nail design was released as part of A Tailored Fit Fall 2013 Collection, which includes eight beautiful shades with either creme or shimmer finishes. Here’s the shade description from Incoco website:

“Wispy pink and purple feathers lain atop a glittering gold base make this one delicate and elegant shade.”

Just like most Incoco products, these nail appliques were very easy to apply. The material is a bit thin, which in the end gave the stickers some nice flexibility and allowed for more precise stretching when spreading them over the nails. Unfortunately, at the time of this swatch my nails were not in the greatest condition due to side peeling, and I had to keep filing the sides until they eventually looked like talons. I’m not a big fan of talon nails trend, so I decided to just stop this torture and chopped them off.

Incoco nail polish appliqués are 3-free and do not contain formaldehyde, DBP (dibutyl phthalate) or toluene.
