Hydroxatone Product Review and Giveaway

Several weeks ago Hydroxatone sent me three beautifully packaged products to review:

AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex
Revitalizing Microdermabrasion
Instant Lift Pads

As with most skincare products that promise change to your skin you must use them for at least 4 to 6 weeks to see noticeable results, so I decided to take my time and let my mirror do the judging.
I’m 27 years old and I’ve been using anti-aging products since I turned 25 when I started noticing tiny fine lines appearing around my lips and on the forehead. To me that was a sign that my skin has finally started losing the battle against time and now it’s up to me to help it. Some of my friends said I’m crazy, that anti-aging skincare is for much older women, but I felt that any damage is always easier to prevent than to reverse. I honestly believe that age does not define when you should start using anti-aging products, it’s the condition of your shin that should always be the main factor, and the sooner you start working on it the better. With that said, I hope you enjoy my review!

AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex:
Hydroxatone’s best-seller lived up to its reputation of being a gentle and effective daily anti-aging moisturizer. It contains three key ingredients that battle the signs of aging with addition of  SPF 15 for everyday protection from the sun’s harmful rays.

  • Matrixyl3000: Supports three key building blocks needed for fresh, youthful skin. It helps your skin to promote natural levels of Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, and Fibronectin.
  • Argireline: Unique anti-aging peptide specifically designed to provide fast and visible results.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: Virtually unmatched in hydrating the skin because of its ability to retain water more effectively than other natural substances, resulting in increased smoothness, softness, and decreased appearance of facial wrinkles.

After 6 weeks of using this moisturizer twice a day my skin really did appear much smoother and brighter, I would still get little wrinkles around my lips after laughing or talking but instead of taking the whole day or two it would only take my skin a couple hours to get rid of them on its own, so this cream actually made my skin feel and act younger.

Revitalizing Microdermabrasion
We all know that it’s important to regularly exfoliate the skin from dead cells so it can breathe easier and absorb other skincare ingredients better.

This little jar is deceptive! At first I thought it doesn’t have that much product in it but a little truly goes a long way. The tiny crystal microbeads gently and effectively exfoliated my skin leaving it soft and radiant, thanks to included sesame seed oil and other botanical extracts. Although I did like the product a lot, I wish Hydroxatone would change the packaging. This product’s consistency is more gel-like so it would be nice if it came in a container with a pump, because honestly I did have a little trouble scooping it out with my nails.

Instant Lift Pads
This was my favorite product out of the three, because it provided immediate visible results. It seriously works like magic! These pads nourish and plump the skin around the problem areas to make it appear well-rested and fresh.

I put the pads around my mouth and under my eyes, and 20 minutes later all of the creases and fine lines were gone! I took before and after pictures that speak for themselves, as always there is no Photoshop involved and the results are 100% real.
