I almost forgot I even received my August Glossybox until I found it under my bedside table. Everything inside was still untouched and unpacked, so it was like finding a surprise box of treasures.

Glossybox August 2015 Unboxing & Review. She’s not nearly as picky as I am when it comes to eyeliners and pencils, and I just know that she will really enjoy trying this out out.

I am obsessed with the buttery feel of the formula when it goes on, with the beautiful glossy finish, even coverage, and unrivaled longevity. This soft pink color I got is simply stunning and will make a great addition to my collection.

This Manna Kadar Lash Primer is the bomb, you guys! It reminds me of my other long time favorite from Jane Iredale, because it’s also white and has a similar-looking brush. It gives my lashes some crazy volume and length, and also conditions them so they are soft and less brittle.

I did not expect to like it at all, because the packaging made me think it’s one of those generic yucky plastic-smelling lip balms that glue my lips together. How wrong I was! This lip balm is an absolute delight, and nourishes my lips immediately after the first swipe. It smells like vanilla frosting and has no unpleasant aftertaste. It’s sitting on my bedside table [the one I found my box under, haha] and I’ve been using it every night since I first tried it. Seriously, this is one of the best lip balms in my collection.

Glamglow Youthcleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser was a welcome surprise, and one of my favorite products this month. It’s a weird mix of a clay mask, a foam cleanser, and an exfoliant, and somehow it all makes sense. I’m a fan!

THE VERDICT: What a fantastic box! Aside from POP Beauty pencil [that’s probably not even that bad to be honest, I’m just oddly picky here], I loved every single product. I don’t think I can even pick a favorite, but the biggest surprise of the month award definitely goes to the lip balm. I expected a generic dud, and it was simply fabulous.
