February Empties

I know I haven’t been very diligent about keeping up with my regular features. Sample Saturday was the first to go, followed by Weekly Favorites and then Empties. It’s not that I don’t want to write those anymore, I just never seem to have time for them lately. I plan to resurrect Empties and turn Weekly Favorites into Monthly Favorites, and I also want to add a new series too [K-beauty Saturdays have been unofficially running for the past month]. Without further ado, here here are my February empties!

SKINCARE:

ProYou Pore Control Foam Deep Cleanser [$34.00, only available in Korea] – I received it a million years ago in a Memebox, and at the time I had way too many other cleansers open so I saved it for later. I finally had a chance to give it a try, but it was my husband that actually finished the bottle. He loved the fizzies on the skin! Repurchase? I would for my hubs if I could.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream [$59 for 1.3 oz, available here] came as part of a mini set that I got from Sephora. I finished this night cream, but wasn’t blown away with the results. I did love the Vinoperfect serum though, that one was pretty awesome. Repurchase? I don’t think so.

I’m on my third bottle of LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence [$45 for 1.7 oz, available here], and I never want to be without it again. It helps re-balance my combination skin, mattifying the oily spots and hydrating the dry areas, while fighting the redness and healing breakouts. I’ve gotta show you my stash of backups some day, I think I’m at 10 bottles now. Repurchase? Already did, and definitely will in the future!

I bought Zents Salt Detoxifying Epsom Soak in Ore [$20 for 13 oz, available here] when it was on clearance for something ridiculous, like $5 a tub or something, and I think it’s still available at that price. It’s very gentle on the skin and the fragrance is divine! Ore is actually one of my favorite Zents fragrances, and I own a full-sized perfume bottle that is sitting on my desk right now. Repurchase? At $5 why not!

PIXI Glow Tonic [$15 for 3.4 oz, available here] came highly recommended by many UK beauty bloggers, and I thought it was nice, but there are other Korean products I love a little bit more. I do love that zingy citrusy-floral fragrance though! Repurchase? Not likely.

Erno Laszlo Multi-pHase Makeup Remover [$55 for 6.8 oz, available here] is my second favorite makeup remover of all time after Le Metier de Beaute, which is sadly not for sale [they made it exclusively for their MUAs to use at the counter]. I usually hunt Hautelook for Erno Laszlo sales so I can stock up on more of this remover, because it’s extremely gentle and removes the most bulletproof formulas with ease. Repurchase? Yes!

Remember what i said about the PIXI toner? COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner [$16 for 5 oz, available here] is one of my Korean favorites, and I just finished a bottle, too. I have two more backups in my stash so I’m good for now, but as soon as I see a sale I’ll probably get 2-3 more. This toner gently exfoliates the skin and helps deal with breakouts. Repurchase? Already did!

SUPPLEMENTS:

For the record, I am totally obsessed with HUM Nutrition supplements and have about 10 other bottles in my drawer [no, I don’t take them all at once, haha!]. After getting the zombie death flu earlier this winter my poor stomach just couldn’t keep up, so I used Daily Cleanse [$25 for 60ct, available here] and Gut Instinct [$25 for 30ct, available here] to fix the situation. Supplements are a very individual thing, so make sure to consult your physician before taking any new ones. Check out this post to find out how to majorly save on HUM Nutrition supplements. Repurchase? Yes to both! [when I need them again]
