Elemis Skincare Reviews, Latest Launches & Deals

It’s no secret that I’ve been a huge fan of Elemis products for a very long time now. Today I wanted to refresh your memory with a handful of mini reviews and share a couple sweet deals on skincare I’ve come to love so much.

First of all, I am super excited to announce that the #1 British luxury beauty brand is now available at Ulta Beauty stores. You will be able to check out select products in person after August 12th when the retail locations get shiny new Elemis displays to showcase the bestsellers, exclusive sets, and new arrivals. With so many options choosing 1-2 products to try can be very overwhelming, but there are some items that work for all skin types.

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm ($64) is easily the #1 product I recommend to everyone as an intro to the brand. This cleansing balm smells amazing and dissolves all traces of sunscreen and long-lasting makeup, even waterproof formulas. There is a lot of product in the jar, probably 3-4 months’ worth if used daily. As a bonus you also get a nice soft washcloth and a spatula that makes it easy to measure out the perfect amount of balm each time and avoid wasting the product. You really don’t need to use all that much to thoroughly clean the skin with this one.

By the way, I featured Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm in one of my recent blog posts if you want to check it out. It’s a roundup of cleansing balms I currently own/use and you can get a general idea on how it compares to some other available balms on the market.

Two other Elemis products I really enjoy are also the brand’s best-sellers – and rightfully so! Pro-Collagen Marine Cream ($128) has a luxurious silky texture and a wonderful soothing fragrance that makes using it extra special. The formula contains anti aging ingredients that were clinically proven to visibly improve the appearance of fine lines and addresses loss of firmness. It has a rich texture so I think it’s more suitable for people with either dry, dehydrated, or mature skin that has lost elasticity. I have combination skin so it can be too heavy for 90 degree weather, but I still use it very sparingly in the summer on cold nights or when I go someplace windy, like Chicago. I just love the results so much that I am willing to try and make it work for the climate instead of looking for a more suitable product.

Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is the ultimate anti-aging treatment. It kind of does everything, sans the exfoliation, so I always try to also use exfoliating liquids [like a serum, toner or those convenient pre-soaked pads] to supplement the regimen and get the full benefits of both to achieve radiant and more youthful looking skin.

I am also kind of obsessed with Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil ($59). It was the first Elemis product that I finished, and the one I immediately fell in love with from the first use. I think it hands down has the best fragrance of them all – so warm and sweet, but also nostalgic. The formula is also perfection for my combination/dehydrated skin type. It has oily texture with the consistency of a lightweight milky lotion

I also had the chance to try a brand new release – Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream ($49). This new addition to the Peptide4 lineup complements the Cream-Oil perfectly with its whipped, velvety texture. It also doesn’t have a scent, which is something I appreciate because I prefer to use unscented products for the area around my eyes. I apply it at night and wake up looking more well-rested and wide awake even if I didn’t get enough sleep. I definitely notice the difference when I use Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream vs the one I had sitting on my night table previously. In case you’re wondering, my old eye cream is from Saturday Skin, which is a nice basic hydrating product but it just doesn’t have the same anti-aging effect as Elemis.

Elemis Skincare Reviews, Latest Launches & Deals QVC Elemis All Day Beautiful Skin 3-piece Collection

TODAY ONLY you can score a special value deal on a 3-piece set that contains the above products at a fraction of the cost. QVC always has amazing deals on luxury skincare and makeup, and this is the one I would personally shop if I didn’t already have these products on hand. Elemis All Day Beautiful Skin 3-piece Collection ($83 $237) includes full-sized bottles of Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, my favorite Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil, and the brand new Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream. If paying $83 at once is a bit too much you can split it into six Easy Pay installments of $13.83. That way you can take advantage of this incredible deal and start using the products immediately. More info on Easy Pay can be found here. I think it’s very convenient and I’m glad that we have the option to split the total cost into smaller installments that are easier to swallow. I often use a similar option on another website when buying my expensive makeup brushes by the way.

There were two more Elemis launches this summer I was really excited about.

The first one is a collaboration between Elemis and an iconic British fashion brand Lily and Lionel, which premiered earlier this summer. The package arrived while I was in Russia so I didn’t get to it until I came back mid-July, but the exclusive products are still available on Elemis website.

Elemis released two new travel sets – Lily & Lionel Luxury Travel Collection For Her ($99) and Lily & Lionel Luxury Travel Collection For Him ($65) – that come inside exclusive cosmetic bags designed by Lily and Lionel. The quality of the bags is top notch – these are way better than typical cheap GWPs with uneven stitching and poor craftsmanship. I also love the bold and colorful prints: For Her print is a fun bohemian take on the current obsession with putting stickers on everything. For Him bag features more muted tones of blue but still stays true to the playful spirit of Lily and Lionel.

Lily & Lionel Luxury Travel Collection For Her includes the following products ($170.40 total value):

  • Lily & Lionel Designer Bag
  • Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 30ml
  • Frangipani Body Oil 35ml
  • Balancing Lavender Toner 50ml
  • White Flowers Eye & Lip Makeup Remover 28ml
  • Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil 10ml
  • Frangipani Shower Cream 50ml

Lily & Lionel Luxury Travel Collection For Him includes the following products ($102.90 total value):

  • Lily & Lionel Designer Bag
  • Ice Cool Foaming Shave Gel 100ml
  • Deep Cleanse Facial Wash 50ml
  • Sharp Shower Body Wash 100ml
  • Instant Refreshing Gel 20ml
  • Daily Moisture Boost 50ml

My PR package also contained a GWP that you could get with any $125+ purchase. It’s a smaller cosmetic bag with the boho print, like the one used in For Her collection, with four deluxe-sized products inside. It was available while supplies last but this collaboration was so popular that I don’t think Elemis has these bags in stock anymore.

Elemis Skincare Reviews, Latest Launches & Deals Daily Defense Shield SPF30

Last, but not least, Elemis recently released a new sunscreen product, which is kind of a big deal. Because sunscreen is classified as a drug in the US, companies have to jump through a lot of hoops to be able to launch one for the US market. New Daily Defense Shield SPF30 ($60) is a milky lightweight lotion that can be used instead of a daily moisturizer, because Elemis packed it chock full of nourishing and anti-aging ingredients. It provides broad spectrum protection not only from the usual skin aging culprits such as UVA/UVB rays and environmental pollutants, but also shields from the high energy visible light. There is growing evidence that suggests blue light emitted by smartphone screens, tablets, laptops, and desktop monitors may contribute to premature skin aging and may even cause more serious health issues. I guess every generation discovers something new that the previous generations didn’t know about. I mean, I grew up thinking ‘base tan’ was a good thing, and now that just sounds silly.

And that’s it for now! I hope you enjoyed discovering new goodies from Elemis; as you can tell I really love this brand and always look forward to sharing my thoughts on their wonderful skincare. If it’s a new-to-you brand, I highly recommend checking them out at your local Ulta when they set up the displays next month, or trying one of their many travel value sets. Elemis is very generous with their travel sizes, so those should last you a while and give a good idea if a product works for your skin type or not. If you are already a fan and looking to stock up on your favorites, today’s QVC deal is not to be missed. Here’s the link to it again, in case you missed it above. Happy hunting!
