I often use wax strips to get rid of unwanted hair, and from my personal experience these worked better than Veet. Usually I still have a few hairs left to get rid of, but with Sally Hansen one application was enough for each area.

Not a fan of the color (pattern?) but I’ll wear them on my toenails in a few weeks when it gets warm enough for the flip flops and sandals. These strips are made of real nail polish, like my favorite Incoco, so I’m mostly looking forward to testing out the formula.

I’m not a big fan of protein bars, and usually I would rather prefer to eat an actual meal instead, but they did save me in a pinch a couple times in the past when I was stuck somewhere for a long time. I’ll put this bar in my purse until the day I actually need it.

Yay, Weleda samples! Weleda makes fabulous natural and organic skin and body care, and all of their products are very affordable, about the same price range as L’Oreal. I’m especially looking forward to trying the body oils because I never used either of them before, and I’m already a fan of the Pomegranate body lotion.

The Fast Metabolism Diet: Eat More Food and Lose More Weight [Hardcover] by Haylie Pomroy
That’s kind of a long description above, but I figured I’ll leave it like that to give you all a nice long summary of the book. I’ve been steadily gaining weight over the past 6-7 months, some of it due to my new eating habits, some due to stress, so now I’m looking for an elaborate diet plan that will help me eat better and slowly and steadily lose weight [I need to get rid of about 10 lbs]. Which is why I was very excited that this book was included in our boxes! According to the book’s website, it’s not even in the stores yet, so it feels extra special to have it in my hands right now 🙂 Also, this plan has by Dr. Oz seal of approval so that’s a nice bonus.

So this app is supposed to keep you motivated by billing you each time you miss a workout, and rewarding you when you check in and exercise. Knowing myself, I will probably forget to check in all the time, which will end up costing me money. Not going to bother with this one, but the idea is good.

• The best: I’m most excited about the book, of course 🙂
• The worst: GymPact code, even though it’s just a little bonus, I feel like it puts too much pressure on anybody who will try using it. There’s just no easy way to get out of it once you’ve activated your account.

The verdict: I enjoyed all of the products we got, and I’m looking forward to my diet results. Hopefully I can get bikini ready in a couple of months, just in time for the beach season 🙂
