I feel like the Lifestyle section of my blog was feeling lonely and abandoned lately, so I thought I’d add a few posts to liven things up a bit. On my recent trip to NYC/DC we stopped by Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History to see the famous Hope Diamond. After swooning over the beauty of that rock, I noticed they also have a small butterfly garden, and I just had to take a peek.
They didn’t have a very large collection of butterflies, probably because it’s the wrong time of the year to see them, but the few they did have were very pretty. Did you know that most butterfly species live around two weeks in their adult stage? That’s a bit sad, isn’t it?
When was the last time you went to a museum or a zoo?
