Boxycharm by Ipsy September 2024 Unboxing & Review
I’ve been dying to share this month’s Boxycharm with you because it might be one of my favorite boxes yet! Ipsy nailed all of my preferences, and I’m pretty picky with my skincare and makeup. Ipsy and Boxycharm share the same monthly theme, and this month it’s “Enter Your Soft Era.”
HOW IT WORKS:
Each month as Boxycharm by Ipsy subscriber you will receive a new box with a mix of 5 full-sized beauty products customized according to your beauty profile. Members can watch videos and play along with the stylists, all for only $30/month (up to $200 value). Click here to check it out.
IN THE BOX:
1 // Aminnah Rose Quartz Sugar Scrub ($25) – Great size, enough for many full-body applications, and smells so good! I like that the sugar crystals are finer than in your typical sugar scrub, so they feel less scratchy. If I had to nitpick about anything, it would be the lack of a spatula so you’re forced to scoop out the product with your hands and might get some sugar grains stuck under your nails. 4.5/5
2 // Kat Burki Rose Hip Intense Recovery Eye Serum ($135) – I really enjoyed Kat Burki skincare in the past and this is yet another fabulous product to add to my well-aging skincare routine. The formula features some highly effective ingredients, like rosehip oil, Vitamin C, DMAE, and 1% retinol, plus the packaging is so beautiful and the bottle feels very luxe. 5/5
3 // IL MAKIAGE Mineral Baked Blush in Vogue ($36) – Wasn’t too sure about this blush at first until I tried it. The powder feels so soft and finely milled, and the formula is pleasantly pigmented and blendable. It reminds me of my MAC and CHANEL singles! 5/5
4 // Pinky B Beauty Had Me At Primer ($21) – A lightweight base with some nice slip that gives your skin that glow from within effect. I wear it under the foundation and it makes my skin look so even and glowy, but not overly so. I wish I could use it as a highlighter too, but it just doesn’t sit well on top of makeup. 4/5
5 // JLo Beauty That Star Filter Complexion Booster in Rose Gold ($39) – Body bronzers are viral on TikTok right now and this one will help achieve glowy shoulders and collarbones, plus it actually lasts on the skin until your next shower. Easy to dilute with your favorite body lotion, too, making it even more versatile. 5/5
BOTTOM LINE:
Fantastic lineup this month, I couldn’t be happier! Loved every single item in my box, plus the quality and the variety of different products was on point. September is my Birthday month so I was really hoping for something special, and Ipsy did not disappoint. Also, can we talk about the insane retail value? Boxycharm typically promises a value up to $200, but mine was a whopping $256!
