Usually I’m pretty good about eating yogurt, but sometimes my stomach gets a little cranky. All Bestowed subscribers received a 7-day sampler of Align Probiotic Supplement, along with $5 off coupon for the full-sized box. I don’t take these daily, but when I do my stomach always feels fine afterward. What’s unique about Align is that it includes a unique patented pure-strain probiotic bacteria that was developed by gastroenterologists, which helps maintain the perfect digestive balance in the gut. Sounds promising!
I tried Justin’s Almond Butter before, but never the maple kind. It was thick, nutty, and delightfully almondy with a hint of sweetness. I’m an almond person rather than a peanut person and don’t really care for peanut butter, so this was the perfect sample for me.
Miracle Tree Moringa Organic Tea was another product I tried in the past. It has a very different taste; it’s like an herbal tea that kind of resembles rooibos, but less sweet. Does that make sense? Moringa leaves are actually antioxidant powerhouses – they contain over 90 nutrients vital for good health, including 25 vitamins and minerals and all 8 essential amino-acids. Now thinking about it, I should really pick up this one.
Natralia Heel Balm sample is something I don’t really need, but I’ll keep it around in case my feet get in bad shape. It’s made in Australia using natural ingredients to relieve very rough dry feet, providing drastic results after just three days of use.
Nature’s Bakery Gluren-Free Fig Bars are well-known, and they also happen to be my favorite fig bars. They are packed with calories so densely, one bite can fill me up for hours! I always carry around one of these in my bag, and thanks to Bestowed I get to try a kind I never tried before.
I love the idea behind Quest Nutrition Protein Chips, but I still didn’t have the opportunity to try them. I took a quick look at the label and noticed that they have a really good calorie vs protein ratio, containing 21 grams of protein per only 120cal. That makes a perfect post-workout snack to feed those muscles and help them recover quicker.
The box also included coupons for Ruby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops and a free one-month membership to Yoga Anytime online classes. I wasn’t able to find the fruit pops at my local store, but I haven’t checked “nicer” retailers yet. Yoga classes sound great, too! I usually just look on Youtube for free classes, but this one sounds interesting, so I’ll check it out.
[BONUS] Nektar Honey Crystals were included as a bonus in the box, and I used them together with my Moringa tea. They are delicious together!
THE VERDICT: This particular box seemed lighter than usual and didn’t pack much retail value, so this has to be one of my least favorite I’ve gotten this year. The products inside will be used for sure, I just wish it was more substantial.
What is your ideal travel-friendly snack? Have you tried Bestowed before? Let me know in the comments below!
P.S.: Due to time constraints I didn’t do the price breakdown, but the value was lower than the cost of the box this month, which doesn’t happen often.

YUM! This is a box I would love, I also am a weirdo and love trying new pro biotics. I haven’t tried this brand yet, but I might just!
I like probiotics! I need to supplement them because I normally don’t consume dairy products that often – maybe once every few days.
This would be a great box! I bet the BBQ chips are good!!
Hubs and I tried them the other say – for a protein bar in a chip form they were surprisingly delicious! We thought they’d be nasty 🙂
I’ve never heard of this box, but my bf & I have really been into healthier snacks lately so I’ll have to check this out. I love the Justin’s almond butter!
It’s one of the better healthy snacking boxes out there. Also make sure to check out Urthbox, they offer similar type service and more box options, depending on how many snacks you want to receive.
I want to try this box, I also love Justin’s brand!
Their nut butters are some of the best! We also like MaraNatha almond and peanut butters 🙂
My primary care doctor who’s a gastroenterologist recommended Align, and I’ve been using them for about 3 years. Changed my life.
That’s great to hear! I’ve already completed my 7-day trial, and I think my gut is healthier now… if you know what I mean. Definitely works well!
Love all the choices. I actually buy the Justin’s almond butter to take with me when I work in NYC for a healthy snack.
Those pouches are so convenient!
The maple almond butter sounds yum!
I only tried Justin’s regular almond butter before, so it was fun to sample the maple variety 🙂 It tasted great!
I love almond butter. A snack box isn’t for me only because I’m so picky!
Mystery snack boxes are definitely not for picky eaters 🙂 You should try graze, you can actually pick products you would like to receive and blacklist anything that you don’t.
I need to try this sub box, I like snacking every once in a while
And those are all healthy snacks, too! This was actually one of their least exciting boxes, usually they are much better and offer more variety.
Interesting box but I’d want chocolate. LOL
Girl, don’t tempt me! I’m on a strict diet right now LOL 🙂
I want to try that raspberry fig bar. I loooove the almond butter
I thought I was the only person who loved those 🙂 Fig bars are delicious!
Some of these snacks sound amazing. The heel balm seems little … random? I love trying new snacks, though!
Right? I was like.. “okay?” It was very unexpected in a snack box, haha 🙂
I’m all about more natural health items, and allergy friendly foods, so this box looks like a great option. Thanks for sharing! (I’m probably the only one excited about the heel balm? I need something like that lol!)
It does seem like a very nice heel balm, although I admit, I was super confused when I saw it in a snack box.
We use Justin’s Almond Butter in our house <3 What a great box!
Glad you like it, too!
Mmm… Almond butter…
My favorite 🙂
