Hammer Nutrition Heed – I started working out again after taking a long break [no good excuse, just lazy], so I was looking into adding some protein shakes and electrolytes to my diet. I mixed this drink with 20oz of water, and sipped it throughout the day before, during, and after a workout. I don’t know if it did anything because I didn’t feel any different than usual, but it tasted like watered down orange soda, so not too bad.
Honey Stinger Organic Sour Kids Chews – Healthy sweets, say what? These yummy chews are certified gluten-free, include Vitamin C, potassium, fiber, honey, and organic tapioca protein, so they’re yummy and nutritious. I can see a lot of kids liking these! Psst… I chomped down the whole pouch in one sitting.
I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Clusters – These hard clusters remind me of a snack from Russia called kozinak, but instead of sunflower seeds, this one is made with lightly roasted quinoa. I’m not a big fan of the flavor, but I can see this being a hit with peanut brittle lovers.
Morning Sunshine Breakfast Cookies Dark Chocolate Flax – Do you like breakfast cookies? I do! The size and consistency reminded me of my grandma’s homemade oatmeal cookies I used to love as a kid, but I feel like hers were more moist. These really are gigantic though, one individually packaged cookie was as large as my entire palm. They’re good for you, too, because Morning Sunshine bakes them with healthy fiber, protein, omega-3s, and antioxidants. I also liked that even though this variety has chocolate, it wasn’t overly sweet, and tasted more like actual breakfast than a dessert. Yum!
Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars – Fig bars are my everything, they’re a snack and a dessert all in one, and I sometimes have them for breakfast. I loved the one Bestowed sent, and I’ll buy more of these if I spot them on sale at my local grocery store. Delicious and filling!!
Plum Organics Plum Vida – These pouch fruit purees remind me of baby food, in a good way. They’re smooth. squeezable, and easy to eat on the go without making a mess, plus they’re usually made with all-natural ingredients. I didn’t care for the flavor I got in this box, but the quality seemed good enough to give it another try. I looked up online and they have Cherry Beet Ginger – now that’s right up my alley.
Simply Organic Steam Gourmet Seasoning & Parchment Kit – I like receiving spices and cooking kits in my subscription boxes, so I put this one to the test the very same day. I followed the directions on the package and sprinkled 1lb of chicken thighs with the spice mix, put them in the parchment bag, and baked at 400 for 40 minutes. The chicken turned out very tender and juicy, but still needed salt. If you got this box and plan to use the kit, I recommend sprinkling your protein with a dash of salt and pepper, and also stuffing some veggies in the bag – zucchinis, baby potatoes, carrots, onions, whole garlic, parsnips. That should make the dish taste a million times better!
Numi Indulgent Chocolate Tea – Rooibos tea is one of my least favorite varieties, but it worked well with chocolate in this blend. I would even call it a dessert tea, because it had rich aroma and bold taste, even without sweeteners.
Natralia Dry Skin Lotion – Haven’t tried this lotion yet, probably because there’s enough to cover only one arm, maybe both at most. However, I am always on the lookout for gentle body moisturizers, and will put Natralia to the test soon enough. The sample comes with a coupon, which is handy in case you happen to fall in love with the product.
THE VERDICT: As always, I am very impressed with the curation of this box, and the thought that went into it. Just by looking at everything, it’s obvious that this is not just a pile of samples thrown together, and I really appreciate that. I discovered several favorite products this month: Plum Organics snack pouches, Numi chocolate rooibos tea, paprika spice mix, fig bars, and honey chews. I will be on the lookout for all of them at my local stores!

I love boxes like these! New good for you treats are the best!
That’s for sure! And I love the curation of these boxes; every product is carefully picked from the sea of healthy snacks.
I love this! It has it all! I hope I win!
Good luck, Brooke!
What a delicious box! I love peanut brittle and quinoa, so I love the sound of Quinoa Clusters.
I’ve been really into quinoa lately, too. You could say it’s a rediscovered fave of mine – I had it a few times in the past, then stopped eating it for a while, and now I cook a good chunk of meals with a serving of quinoa on the side 🙂
That cookie looks delish! What a great box
Girl, that cookie is HUGE, it can easily be split between three people and they’d be satisfied. It’s not just wide, it’s tall too, like a mound. Fun discovery for sure!
What a great box! I would love to try all the things!
That’s the whole point – trying things! I always seem to haul my favorites on Amazon after discovering something new via Bestowed box 🙂
That looks like some yummy stuff!
Like with any food, it’s all YMMV, but I always enjoy the variety of snacks in Bestowed boxes, even if I don’t end up loving everything.
I love fig bars, and I’d love to try one that’s not a Fig Newton! Looks yummy
Me too, Allison! They are supposed to be snacks, but to me they are basically a dessert – so sweet and filling. I think Newton’s good, too 😉
I’ve gotten a few of these in my Bulu box subscription. Numi makes great tea combos. But, the pear sauce…..it think kids would like it better than I. LOL!
Yeah, wasn’t really a fan of that pear thing, even though I normally like pears. I tried Bulu box a couple times, but they were a bit too supplement-heavy for me, although this is probably a very fun subscription for people that like gym lifestyle.
That breakfast bar looks good… Dark chocolate.
Nice, a fellow dark chocolate lover! I think most people around me prefer milk chocolate, so I get to keep all of those dark bitter goodies for myself 🙂
Everything looks SO yummy. I do wish the contents ould at least equal to the cost BUT I’d trade a couple dollars for healthy snacks that taste good and not like cardboard.
I know what you mean, but that’s usually the case with snack subscriptions, because food is not as overpriced as beauty products. Despite the low retail value, this box looks nice and full, and the quality of everything seemed great!
Yum… I love Quinoa and I think this would be all kinds of delish.
Yum! I’m a quinoa girl, too! That snack was very crunchy, but I think the fruit didn’t go well with the flavor of quinoa. Just my personal opinion though 🙂
That tea sounds SO good!
I know, right? It’s a delicious subscription box 🙂 I also like graze, they send small portion-sized snacks, but they also have a version with bigger pouches.
great box, love the cookie
That cookie was *huge*!
This box sounds wonderful. How are you liking WP?
Hey Kath! I’m still adjusting, but so far it’s been a smooth transition. Hard to tell if it was worth it because Google index me in search engines yet, but I do love the new layout, and the admin dashboard. Are you thinking of switching, too?
I love your new blog set up ! It’s gorgeous, and it sounds like an amazing box,.
Thank you, Betzy!
