Hello yum! Bestowed Box April 2015 Review >> http://bit.ly/1DhF6h4 | via @glamorableBalance Bar Dark Chocolate Crunch – I’ve been buying Balance Bars for years and I had no idea they were eco-friendly, now that makes me feel even better for giving them my money. I’ve never tried this particular variety before, but honestly, I don’t really care what protein bars taste like as long as they give me an immediate boost of energy and help last til dinner. However, those who actually take flavors into consideration, would like to know that this bar tastes like a righ dark chocolate brownie, but without the excessive sweetness.

Bitsy’s Brainfood Smart Cookies – Who doesn’t like cookies? And the packaging as fun as this will surely grab your kid’s attention. The cookies are made with just the good stuff: organic whole wheat flour and sweet potatoes, with addition of vitamins, minerals, and even healthy Omega-3 fatty acids.

Coco Libre Pure Organic Coconut Water – I sometimes buy Vita Coco water at the store when I want some quick electrolytes, and also make smoothies with fresh coconut water from green Thai coconuts, so I’m no stranger to its odd flavor. The first time I tried it, I thought it was really yucky, but it grew on me over time, and now I like it. This one tastes just like any other pre-packaged coconut water, and I was glad to put a new brand on my grocery radar.

Hello yum! Bestowed Box April 2015 Review >> http://bit.ly/1DhF6h4 | via @glamorableDandy Blend Herbal Beverage – I was like “what in the world is this thing??”, as my experience with herbal coffee substitutes is very limited. I know my Mom drinks chicory in the mornings because it kind of tastes like coffee and has no caffeine, but I’ve never tried powdered dandelion. It almost sounds like some herbal medicine, haha 🙂 Well, so far I wasn’t brave enough to drink it, but I will update this post with my verdict as soon as I do.

Enlightened The Good For You Crisp – I don’t know if there were any variations, but i received Wasabi Roasted Broad Beans. The package says that one pouch has a whole 7g of protein, that’ a lot for a tiny packet like this! Bestowed recommends using these bean crunchies in salads instead of croutons, or snack on them at the movie theater instead of popcorn, which is what I intend to do with mine.

Fuel For Fire Fuel Pack – Ahh, the fruit pouches, how I love thee! You guys already know all about my obsession with fruit pouches, I will even buy kids’ ones! It’s everything I want in a quick snack – mess-free, convenient, healthy, don’t have to chew on it loudly [in case I have to snack at some quiet place and it would be awkward if I was crunching on a bag of chips or something]. Anyhow, this particular pouch is definitely for adults, and it packs 10g of protein and a triple-berry mix to deliver an immediate boost of energy. I like this better than protein bars, actually, and if these pouches were a little cheaper, they would be all I ever carry as a snack in my purse.

Hello yum! Bestowed Box April 2015 Review >> http://bit.ly/1DhF6h4 | via @glamorableSnap Infusion Tart Supercandy – Speaking of unconventional ways to boost energy, I’ve never seen energy candy before. I mean, not like I specifically looked for it, but this will be my first time actually trying one. Bestowed recommends keeping these for super long car rides, because they boost alertness better than junky candy. We’ll see! I have a 4hr trip coming up soon, and I look forward to seeing how these perform in action.

[BONUS] Zarbee’s Naturals Seasonal Relief – Not listed on the product list, but Bestowed mentioned a special surprise, so this must be it. How thoughtful of them to include a product that helps make seasonal allergies easier! I will pass this on to my husband who will benefit from it more than me.

THE VERDICT: I thought this was a fantastic box, at least for me. It has lots of helpful products and snacks that I know I’m going to use [ok, I’m not too sure about that powdered dandelion drink mix, but everything else I sure will], and I put more healthy brands on my radar. I particularly like the idea behind Fuel For Firefruit + protein pouches and Snap Infusion candy, and depending on how they work for me, I might even purchase more in the future.
