The first product I tried from the box was Kaunis Facial Mask. As someone who uses sheet masks every other day, I was very happy with this sample. Since Kaunis is not a brand I’m familiar with, I had to google some info about their formulations. As it turns out, the sheet mask itself is made with ecocert-certified wood pulp paper from Japan, and the essence liquid is GMO-free, fragrance-free, paraben and phthalate-free. So far the ingredients look very promising, with rosewater and cucumber extract at the top of the list it’s going to be a real treat for my skin!
Have you tried La Fresh wipes before? They are some of the best I tried so far, but I had no idea the company also made skincare. Eco-Beauty Good Day Moisturizer contains aloe juice and powerful plant extracts and promises to make the skin look happy and healthy. So far I tried it a few times, and it seemed to work well for my combination skin.
Here’s another product I liked – Altchek MD Eye Gel Pads. Beauty Box 5 included two pairs in my box, which is pretty generous considering I use these weekly, so that’s essentially a two-week supply. And hey, you know how much I like my Korean skincare, right? These are made in Korea! 🙂
I didn’t think MOODmatcher Luxe Twist Stick would be something I’d be interested in, but it turned out to be a curious product. These chubby tinted balms are fun to use – after the application they transform into bright colors and last all day with minor fading.
Last but not least, I also received The All Natural Face Vegan Matte Cream Lip & Cheek Color that looks like a cream blush. The color – Dusky Rose – is very unique-looking, and unlike anything else I currently own. Oh, and did I mention that it’s all-natural?
THE VERDICT: A nice box all around and follows the monthly theme well. Gel Pads, a superior blush, and a nice mask are definitely updated basics that can elevate any girl’s beauty routine!
