Nicka K New York Nail Color in Red Apple – What can be more timeless and iconic than red nail polish? This classic hue by Nicka K has become my go-to red when I need to look elegant and professional. The formula is fantastic – opaque in just one coat, and super glossy! You can find my full review of this polish here.

OGX Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner – This sulfate-free duo is loaded with coconut oil and hydrating electrolytes to help combat frizz and return life my sun-dried and color-treated hair. These shampoo & conditioner added a lot of volume to my limp flocks, but I felt like I could use a bit more moisture, so I spread a few drops of 100% Argan oil from roots to ends and that worked well.

Glam Natural Mascara – This miracle mascara is marketed as the solution for sensitive eyes. Its paraben-free, gluten-free, vegan and hypoallergenic formula gives lashes a subtle lift and a slight curl, giving them that “sultry 50’s bombshell” look [you know, when they’re kinda heavy and a little curled at the end? that look]. The formula is runnier than what I’m used to, but I surprisingly liked that, because it didn’t clump at all and gave my winks perfect definition. I’m kind of guessing here, since there is no weight listed anywhere, but this sample is probably half the size of the retail tube.

Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit –  I am really excited to receive this sampler! The cleanser is very concentrated, and a little goes a loooong way. The scrub smells absolutely heavenly – like ripe almonds. Even though the product description says that the scrub is non-abrasive, that isn’t true: it has pretty big exfoliating chunks that can scratch the skin if you’re not careful. The mask was absolutely divine, it calmed my skin pretty much instantly, and all I could feel during and after was comfort. And the moisturizer is another great addition to the routine, it’s very soothing and rich, but not too greasy. I’m very impressed with Eslor, and I would consider buying all of these products, except for the scrub.

Vitabath Body Wash in Dreamy Pink Frosting – If you like smelling like a delicious cake, you will love this body wash. It foams well and leaves skin clean, soft and delightfully scented. Sounds great? Well, it gets better! The formula boasts a blend of vitamins and antioxidants, and is sulfate and paraben-free! I will be picking up the full-sized bottle, and also try to hunt down the body mist from the same line. Word on the street, they sell out really fast.

THE VERDICT
Great variety of products this month! I got some nail polish in a universally flattering shade to make my manis and pedis look super classy and appropriate, no matter what event I’m attending. The shampoo & conditioner were like a breath of fresh air for my hair, they thoroughly cleansed my roots and scalp from all dirt and oil. I loved the way the mascara made my lashes look and I will be using it a lot in the upcoming months. The skincare kit reminded me how great Eslor products are, and that I really need to grab that mask. And last but not least, the body wash turned my showertime into a really fun and “delicious” experience!

I think you got a great box this month. I love the Nicka K polish, a gorgeous shade of red. And I love Vitabath. I’ve got Coconut & Cream and though it smells “dessert-y”, I love it. Great mascara pix

I have a Nicka K red polisj (I think it’s called Red Hot), and I really like it. I’m a huge fan of that company – I use their makeup wipes (from Absolute) every day.

My review is going up tomorrow but the mascara wasn’t a win for me =( it stays wet WAY too long and didn’t do anything for my lashes. I loved the shampoo & conditioner, though!

I got pretty much the same box, too. I got a lavender polish that I like. The Vitabath smells too sugary for me – I’ll probably find another home for it.
