Absolute! by Nicka K Nail Polish Remover Pads – I actually tried these nail polish remover pads before, and they are quite different than a typical polish remover. Each small case contains small round sheets soaked in oily solution that dissolves nail polish without drying out the nails. It does take a little longer to fully remove all traces of polish, especially the darker colors, but my nails always look shiny and healthy afterward.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizer – I actually have a full-sized jar of this moisturizer and it has the coolest packaging. I also found all of Juice beauty products fairly effective, especially their famous apple peels. This moisturizer contains a blend of organic plant and fruit oils enriched with apple stem cell extract that work to smooth out fine lines and even out complexion.

Lucky Brand Lucky Number 6 – This sensual fragrance from Lucky Brand contains notes of lotus, tiger lily, cashmere woods and jasmine; perfect for anybody that loves strong florals with a little bit of grounding woodsiness. It’s not my type of fragrance because I tend to lean towards citruses and gourmands, but I may be able to pass it on to someone else who will love it.

Nanacoco Nail Polish in Wonderland Basket – Remember those ultra-pigmented lip glosses that smelled like cupcakes a couple months ago? The same company makes these nail polishes. I don’t know if everyone got the same shade or if they varied, but this one looks like Christmas lights and confetti to me. How appropriate!

Jaqua Raspberry Buttercream Frosting Hand Cream – Ladies, this hand cream smells so good. It’s like slathering a delicious treat all over your hands, it’s amazing! And considering how much I love raspberries, hand creams, and sweet body treats this is a win-win-win.

THE VERDICT
My December box was so much fun! Of course my favorite sample was the yummy-licious raspberry hand cream, but I’m also glad to get a travel-sized tube of Juice Beauty moisturizer and more of those gentle nail polish removing wipes. The glitter topper is unlike anything I own, so I’m happy to get that as well. The only sample I’m giving away this time is the fragrance vial because it’s just not my kind of scent, but these things are too individual. Overall, I really felt like Beauty Box 5 nailed the theme of a SPA-liday and ended this year of amazing boxes on a very good note.

I got the diamond nail polish which is great for New Years Eve and although the face product did smell strongly I think the brand is pretty decent so I slather it on despite not being a huge fan of citrus.

I think all of Juice Beauty products i tried had that herbal/apple scent to it, but they usually work well enough so I just ignore it. I bet that’s because it’s mostly natural/organic without added chemical fragrances.
