Arvazallia Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment |
Hair oils have been steadily gaining popularity in the last few years, but really, all of us who use heat styling should use some kind of heat protection. It’s only been 3 years since I started using oils myself, but I’m really glad I did. Arvazallia sent me their Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment to try, and I was excited to see how it compares to my current favorites. I have to say that my hair is quite damaged after a decade of constantly dying and heat-styling, so now it’s very fine, frizzy and porous. I normally look for oils that tame that frizz and fill in the cracks to make it look healthier.
Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask |
Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment helped make my hair feel soft, shiny, silky and more manageable, but didn’t tame the frizz as well as I had hoped. It’s easy to overuse, so I made sure to apply only as much as I needed – two pumps to cover the entire head. As far as the scent goes, it does smell pretty strong and perfumey right out of the bottle, but the fragrance disappears within 15-20 minutes [at least on me it did]. Arvazallia suggests massaging this oil into the scalp, but my hair is so fine, I never do that sort of thing, otherwise I will lose all the volume. Other suggested uses include mixing some oil with your at-home hair color to make the formula spread better, and as a heat protectant for those of us who use heat styling tools. Side note: the bottle is HUGE and will last a long time.
Hydrating Argan Oil Mask was another product sent to me to try, and since I use hair masks every week, it fit right in with my current routine. Arvazallia recommends applying a generous amount to towel-dried hair and leaving it for 7 minutes. I didn’t towel-dry my hair, instead I just squeezed as much water from it as possible, and left the mask on a bit longer. The results were great. This mask made my hair silky smooth, and very easy to detangle. Actually, the hair just detangled itself [that’s the power of the ‘cones, guys]! As a test, I got out of shower and went on about my daily business without brushing or styling my hair, and when it finally dried, it looked like lovely beachy waves, and not like a bird’s nest.

THE VERDICT
While Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment worked well to smooth and soften my hair, it didn’t really help with frizz as much as I had hoped; maybe it will work better for you, since everyone’s hair is different. Now, the Hydrating Argan Oil Mask is pretty nice. It does everything it claims to do, and even my fine, damaged locks really liked it, but I bet it will also work for coarse and curly hair.

I have these two products as well. I have thick coarse hair and needed a lot more than two pumps to get enough of the oil for the bottom of my hair. I don’t wash everyday ‘coz of my red color that fades so easily, and I found my hair was in need of a wash a little sooner than usual. But it did make my hair feel very nice so it was worth it to wash a day sooner. Looking forward to trying the mask tonight!
Hi Allison! My hair is very fine, so two pumps was just the right amount for me. I think you are going to really like the mask, it feels like it was designed for your type of hair. It’s a great detangler!
I haven´t tried these, but they sounds so good!
Where were all of these products when I was growing up?? ah, that masque sounds awesome. I’ve just tried the DermOrganic one, and I have Phyrra’s next in line. I should look for this one.
I haven’t tried them but anything you mention always makes me want it
