#31DC2013 Day 3 – Yellow Nails

Update: At this time I no longer recommend doing business with Bondi.

This is my retrospect post for the Day 3 challenge. I had a bit of a dilemma whether to make the base color yellow or not, and decided that I should probably go with yellow accents instead.

In this manicure I used Color Club Mod in Manhattan as a base, waited for it to dry thoroughly and applied striping tape to create these uneven triangles. Then I simply filled in the bigger triangles with Lime Crime Crema de Limon, and the smaller ones with Bondi NY The Limelight. After carefully sealing everything with Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat, I added small nail art gems in the middle of each nail to make it look cuter. Voila!

I got the Lime Crime color in my Ipsy bag last month and I absolutely loved it. Your nails look amazing! I need to learn how to make my nails look as pretty as yours.

Thanks Erica! 😀 I got this one in my ipsy bag too, and it’s probably my favorite extra so far.

I honestly don’t even know how I came up with this idea, but I know that I was originally planning to go with a total yellow look. Glad I didn’t 🙂
