Special thanks to plumplant, Muffybear and MsMimi from MakeupTalk forum for providing us with these juicy spoilers! This box contains $638!! worth of luxury products, which means those who purchased it received the contents with a 60% discount. I’ve seen people who were happy with it, and others that were not so thrilled, but same goes for every LE box POPSUGAR has released to date.
What do you think about this box? Do you think it was worth the money?
I love the throw, necklace, and dinner plate set. The rest is hit or miss with me. I did not spring for this box as it was a little pricey for me! And seeing the items now I’m not disappointed I missed out. That said, I find that once I get a box then I have a certain level of commitment to it and am more likely to love the items. If I had spent the $250 on it then I’m sure I’d be swooning over most of it! (Except the zebra dish.)
I skipped this one, too, because for me it was too much to gamble on, and I’m also glad I did. Sure, having that Kaleidoscope and the candle would have been nice, but it’s not something I can’t live without 🙂
The Le Metier and love necklace are fabulous but I definitely wouldn’t pay that much money for the box! I get the value of the box based off of what each item is worth but I don’t knooooow, I’d better love absolutely EVERYTHING in the box for that much! Haha!
That’s how I look at it: If I went into NM and they had a 60% off sale, would I buy any of it? This is essentially what those who got this box did, they bought all of these items at 60% off retail price. I would have definitely bought the Kaleidoscope, probably the candle, and maybe the necklace.
I wish I hadn’t bought this one. I love the kaleidescope and might like or love the spray when I try it, but I wouldn’t buy anything else on my own. I feel like they were mostly unloading anything that would be hard to sell in Fall/Winter. It’s exactly like you said about the 60% off. Even at 70% off I wouldn’t buy most of these items. They aren’t “finds” at all. They’re just pre-sale items. Oh, well. I’ll stick to the $100 boxes for the occasional splurges from now on.
I’m totally in LOVE with my zebra dish, but I’m unloading the necklace. There’s plenty of people who want it and I generally find that I can sell or trade for what I want, so I end up with 60% off what I love and not having to worry about the rest. I have yet to play with the kaleidoscope. I’m not going anywhere tomorrow, so it will probably be then.
