Nail Rock Doodad Colour and Seeing Spots Red Nail Wraps Review, Swatches, Pictures

I like using nail wraps because of their convenience, especially when I want my nails to look fun and colorful but I just don’t have any time to draw all of those flowers, stripes and dots. Nail Rock were among the first wraps I tried, and today I’m going to show you two of their newest designs – Doodad Colour 3D and Seeing Spots Red.

Nail Rock in “Seeping Spots Red”

Nail Rock in “Doodad Colour SS13”

Doodad Colour SS13 is made out of thick material, which almost reminds me of duct tape. The pattern is a black base with scattered yellow, red, blue, white and silver 3D dots. It was actually pretty hard to apply on my nails, because my nail beds are curved, so you almost need superglue to make the wraps stick properly. Too bad, because I really like the pattern, but I might try to re-create it using regular nail polish.

Seeing Spots Red is a classic red base with white polka dots of various sizes. The wrap is thinner than the previous one, and stuck to my nails nicely. I messed up the application a little bit, but you couldn’t tell from a distance at all. I wore this design for 5 days and it stayed on pretty well.

I like nail wraps and polish strips. There is something almost zen about sitting and applying them and I love the instant gratification factor. Pretty designs without having to look at my cray attempts at nail art. 😀

Hmm.. I don’t know if I would like these because of the thicker material. I like nail strips that are super thin and basically resemble dried nail polish. The red one is super cute though!

I like nail wraps/strips. I tried these from a Birch Box more than a year ago and hated them! But they look nice on you. Maybe I got a bad bunch. Or maybe things have changed, that can happen!

I’ve always been curious about nail strips. I loved the red polka dots on you.

Man I was really hoping that the Doodah Colour was going to get a better grade. I love the fun-ness of the print and the shades. I love the multiple colors on black. I just bought some JamBerry nail wraps, so i sure hope they are easy to use. lol… Great post!!

These nail wraps look cool, but I prefer good old dotticure 😀

This look nice. I am a huge fan of incoco nail strips – they work well for me but these designs are cool. I never heard of this brand before.

I like the designs. I don’t like the look of them though

I can’t do nail strips, they just don’t work for my nail shape.

  12. April 24, 2014 / 8:50 pm

I’ve never tried a nail wrap before is it hard to do?

  13. April 24, 2014 / 9:49 pm

They really look nice. I tried the other product from this brand, Eye Rock which was like an eyeliner sticker and it was a disaster!

I haven’t experimented much with nail wraps, but looks like I’ll be avoiding these, The black one looks terrible! The red one is cute, though, but I can do that nail art pretty simply on my own.

The designs are too cute – I like the Incoco ones, as well.

  16. April 25, 2014 / 8:10 am

Cool designs!! I usually grab the Sally Hansen of Incoco ones if I decide to wear them.
