Eu Natural Clarity Vitamin C Serum Review, Pictures

Vitamin C is known for its skin brightening properties and is often used by cosmetologists to help their clients get rid of unwanted freckles, sun damage, acne scars, and other discolorations. I have a few discolorations of my own on my face and back, that I would be thrilled to get rid of, so I finally bit the bullet and decided to try out a Vitamin C serum.

BRAND OVERVIEW
Eu Natural provides unbeatable value with premium beauty and hair supplements, vitamins, and herbal solutions. Products are made in the USA following strict cGMP standards, and never contains parabens or alcohol.

The brand is mostly known for their supplements, but they recently ventured into the world of skincare and introduced their first topical product. Eu Natural claims that Clarity Vitamin C Serum “is an organic formula which contains a potent antioxidant blend of organic vitamin C, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and herbal extracts.  Combined, these ingredients help to stimulate the production of collagen for a fresh, youthful, radiant appearance.”

This serum comes in a bottle with a separate dropper, that can be screwed on like a cap. I like the droppers because that way I can easily control the amount of product I need to dispense. The liquid inside is murky off-white color, and has a very faint bitter citrusy fragrance.

The company recommends using Clarity Vitamin C Serum in the morning. Three-four drops was all that I needed to fully cover my face and neck, because this water-like serum spreads well. It absorbs quickly, and leaves virtually no sticky film on the skin, which is always nice.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, and it’s recommended to be used in the AM routine [remember: antioxidans for AM, retinoids for PM], but don’t forget to always follow up with a good moisturizer with high SPF, because your skin can become extra sensitive to the sun.

After using Clarity Vitamin C Serum for a week I noticed slight changes in the appearance of my freckles and acne scars – they appeared slightly brighter and the skin in the area more even toned than before. For Vitamin C products, one week is usually all it takes to start seeing the difference, and my results were right in line with what I expected of this serum. I will continue using it as a spot treatment until my scars fade to a level I’m comfortable with, and then switch back to my usual product, because as much as I like this one, I feel like I shouldn’t overuse it, because it’s pretty potent.

THE VERDICT
Eu Naturel Clarity Vitamin C Serum worked as expected to effectively make my acne scars less visible after just one week. It’s a concentrated product, so a little will go a very long way, but personally I won’t be using it in my daily routine, instead I will reserve it to treat future hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone after they occur. Don’t forget to always apply a moisturizer with high SPF if you are using any Vitamin C skincare during the day.

Very nice review! I don’t have any freckles or discolorations – yet – but I always keep these things in mind, because I know they are inevitable!

That’s great that you saw results in a week! I have a Vitamin C serum that I should try and see if it helps my areas of discoloration. So far, the only thing I’ve tried that worked was the HD whitener from Estee Lauder.
