I will be the first to admit that natural skincare is not my forte, however, sometimes I stumble upon a product so perfect, it just might be good enough to replace some of my faves. This is what happened when I first discovered Jojoba Oil and the wonderful things it can do for my skin. I wrote about The Jojoba Company before, and today I wanted to show you the main product they’re known for – 100% Natural Australian Jojoba.

100% Natural Australian Jojoba is both the name of the serum, and its only ingredient. Naturally antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic, Jojoba Oil is makes a versatile face, body, and hair treatment. Due to its balanced composition, it works for all skin and hair types, even oily! The reason for this versatility is due to its Oleic Acid [approx. 8%] and Linoleic Acid [approx. 5%] content, which is very close to the skin’s optimal sebum level.

Rich in Vitamins E and B-complex, as well as Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Iodine, and Chromium, it’s the perfect jack-of-all-trades oil for beginners. Jojoba Oil moisturizes the hair and any skin type without clogging pores, and can be used as a gentle makeup remover. In fact, it is a better makeup remover than everyone’s beloved coconut oil. FYI, other natural oils that make amazing makeup removers are Camellia Oil and Grapeseed Oil.

What I like most about 100% Natural Australian Jojoba [aside from the fact that natural Jojoba Oil is totally amazing, of course] is the packaging. Housed in a gorgeous teardrop-shaped pump bottle and wrapped in origami-style box, this fantastic product makes an elegant addition to any vanity. Sometimes I’m guilty of falling for Instagram-worthy packaging, and The Jojoba Company got that in spades 😉

Interesting fact: The Jojoba Company grows their jojoba in Australia on their private farm as a sustainable, carbon negative crop that gives back to the planet to make a difference. Because jojoba trees don’t require birds or insects for pollination, the plantations are made up of thousands of female jojoba shrubs with every seventeenth shrub being male.

This is the first product I used from The Jojoba Co. I love how pure it is and who can beat that bottle?
