When it comes to luxurious formulas, Mirabella rarely disappoints. Just in time for the Holidays, the brand released their newest collection – Jewel Thief. The collection includes two very unique looking palettes, two chubby lip crayons, and one eye crayon.
I received Second Skin Eye Shadow palette in Diamond Deceit, a quint of dive gorgeous shimmery shades of silver, gray, pearly pink, ivory, and aquamarine. There is also Lavender Larceny palette, that includes shades of pink, purple, and brown.
There is a lot to love about these:
- Revolutionary eye shadow formula combines the properties of liquid and powder to provide the most vibrant pigment even without primer.
- The longevity is outstanding! The colors stayed bright all day even on my oily lids for roughly 15 hours, with no fading or settling into creases.
- Compact size of the palette makes it the perfect travel companion.
- Wear the shades alone, or mix them together – the color sections are wide enough to provide easy access to each individual color segment for all standard sized eye shadow brushes.
- You can easily apply these with your fingers, too!
- Five contrasting colors work together beautifully to inspire a multitude of looks.
While the palettes are undoubtedly the stars of this collection, I was more drawn to Velvet Lip Pencils. There are two new colors: a rich berry Wanted and a neutral pink apricot Vice.
What can I say, it was love at first swipe, because the pigmentation is outstanding! The formula goes on smoothly, without bleeding into lines or accentuating dryness, and sets with a beautiful satiny sheen. The wear time on me was exceptional: 6 hours before touch up, with minimal eating and drinking. But Velvet Lip Pencils are not just pretty colors! Mirabella enriched each of these beautiful crayons with raspberry extract, that moisturizes the lips, leaving them soft and supple.
Finally, Blackmail Eye Crayon is a multi-purpose eye product that can be used as an eyeliner or eyeshadow, depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. If you’re looking for a dark eye pencil that can be blended into a sexy smokey eye and worn on the waterline – this is it. In fact, Blackmail Eye Crayon stayed on my waterline so well, I had to use an extra cotton round soaked in dual-phase makeup remover just to go over that area again, after I had already removed my mascara and eye shadow.
I also used it to create a dark smokey eye look, which it worked well for. However, I had to blend fast because this formula sets quickly, and once it does – it won’t budge until you soak it in makeup remover.
Swatch reference: My skin tone is between MAC NC15 and NW15 with yellowish hue and neutral undertones. Sometimes I can wear NW20 in the Summer. I thought this would be useful to know, since all screens show colors differently, and I also don’t have a studio setup with consistent lighting. Hope that helps!
WHERE TO BUY: $24-$48 USD. Available at Mirabella.

That is the most unique eyeshadow palette! I love the colors, too.

Honestly I would feel hesitant about dipping my brush into that eyeshadow palette, it’s too beautiful!
It’s much sturdier than it looks, the pigments are really packed together so they don’t crumble and mess up the pretty pattern. I’m impressed!
Thanks so much Glamorable! We are so happy you love our Holiday Collection!
