With Holidays right around the corner, many of us are already starting to think about our party makeup. Today I want to show you how to transform your makeup from office to party-ready in just 5 minutes, using some of my favorite Milani products. Let’s arm ourselves with beauty tools, set our timers, and begin!

Instead, I would use a concealer baking technique. Take a makeup sponge dampened in setting spray, and apply cream concealer in a wider area than usual – think an oversized V. Here I used Milani Secret Cover Concealer in 07 Natural Beige. Time remaining: 4:27

After the primer sets, dip a brush into your liquid liner pot and add some drama to that office look! Here I’m using Milani Fierce Foil Eyeliner in 03 Brown Foil. This is a step I spend most of those 5 minutes on, because a winged liner always needs some adjustments. Time remaining: 1:53

I don’t know about you, but I find myself touching up my eyebrows in the PM if I have plans for the night ahead. Today I am using Milani Stay Put Brow in Natural Taupe, that will make my brows look groomed and defined, but not overdone. Time remaining: 1:26

Even if you don’t already have any deep plum or rich berry colors in your makeup stash, trying a new shade of lipstick doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, because Milani lippies are affordable and the quality is top notch. P.S.: you can see about a fifth of my Milani lippie collection in the background 😉 Anyhow, my lipstick wardrobe needed a seasonal update so I bought Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Tuscan Toast to use in this tutorial. For this look I used one of my favorite highlighting blushes – Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. Time remaining: 0:29

How you want to use those remaining few seconds is entirely up to you, but I usually run a large fluffy brush with translucent powder across my face and spritz on some perfume before heading out the door. And by the way, you can buy all of Milani products mentioned above at your local CVS. They just built a brand new one in my town, and i’m already planning my next trip for some more Milani lipsticks and blushes.

Read more at >> www.glamorable.com | via @glamorableAll this talk about the Holidays made reminisce about one time when my parents had plans to go to their friend’s NYE party, to which all of us were invited [even the kids!]. The night before I came down with a cold, not bad enough to need any special meds, but going to that party was out of question. My family then decided to all stay at home and celebrate with just the four of us [FYI I was old enough to be at home on my own, so they really didn’t have to stay]. Since we had already made plans to go to that party, we didn’t have any special meals or treats prepared to celebrate the turning of the year, so we just ate a regular meal. That dinner really made our family feel closer together, and to this day it’s still one of my most vivid childhood memories.

I have some definite Milani faves. The Rose Blushes and their creme eye liners are big in my rotation.

    • November 2, 2015 / 9:14 pm

I didn’t care for the Rose blushes, but their baked ones are among my most-used drugstore products. Their lipsticks are to die for, too!

Glad to hear that! I fell in love with it as well, and it replaced tarte’s creaseless primer as my HG.
