Who else spends all winter dreaming of summer? Even though it’s hot outside, being able to wear shorts and a tank top instead of multiple heavy layers makes me feel so happy. And being a coastal girlie, feeling the warm summer breeze from the lake on your skin is just the best thing ever! Summer is the perfect time to have fun in the sun, go to the beach, hiking, camping, or take a road trip, so today I want to share a few tiny but super helpful products from that can make your life easier this season.
First things first, I think it goes without saying, but you should always protect your skin from the sun, especially if you plan to be out and about in the afternoon hours when the UV index is high. But even if you follow all precautions, the skin still gets red just from the heat alone, which can feel pretty uncomfortable. To give my skin some much-needed relief from sun and heat exposure, I’ve been using NOW® Solutions Aloe Soothing Gel ($8.99). It has been among my most-used summer essentials for the past 7 years! The formula is simple but effective, and full of soothing and moisturizing ingredients that make all the difference: aloe vera and cucumber extract to help naturally replenish healthy skin, plus allantoin, panthenol, arginine, and Vitamin E to help soothe and restore moisture.
