Well, this is a big improvement from the B&W mani. I couldn’t think what to do with metallics other than stamping some gears and gizmos, but I don’t own any stamping tools, and I’m a poor freehander, so I went with my all-time favorite chevron pattern.
You might be wondering, what exactly screams “metal” in this manicure? Well, my inspiration was a picture of a beautiful sliced pallasite meteorite, and as we all know, meteorites are made of metal. It has some rose gold coloring on the outside and silver and greenish-yellowish tones on the inside, so I incorporated all of these colors in this mani without making the reference too obvious.
I painted my nails with two coats of Zoya Dahlia, followed by essie Penny Talk on top of Butter London Wallis and outlined using MASH Nail Design Pen in black.
Coming up next – rainbow nails!
Ohmygosh this is a beautiful design!! I am in love with the colour combo!
