Disney Princess Inspired Nail Art: Cinderella

Nothing to Disclose

Cinderella is the second official Disney Princess, and certainly one of the most iconic fictional characters of all time. I didn’t think I possess enough skill to make a literal reference to the movie [I can’t draw a cute shoe, or a fancy clock, or Cinderella herself], so I decided to create nail art inspired by the movie.

The colors of my manicure were mostly an ode to Cinderella’s dress, full of light blue, white, and silver sparkle. As a little girl, I really wanted a dress, just like hers 🙂

Have you tried a movie-inspired manicure before? Which character should I feature next?

Ah, this is so pretty! I love your interpretation. Cinderella is my favorite of the Disney princesses. I loved the movie and story when I was a kiddo 🙂

What a pretty design- especially the pointer finger. Next, I vote for Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Thank you 🙂 Her dress doesn’t feature many colors, so it was actually a pretty tough challenge.

I’m terrible at abstract nail art, but you nailed it! I especially love the nail art on the middle finger over the glitter. Great job!

Thank you Nidia, I think I repainted that finger three times after giving up on drawing a perfect clock showing midnight 😀

So pretty!! A really nice interpretation of a Disney princess without being “cutesy” or girlish. Love 🙂
