Mani Monday: L’Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish “Tangerine Crush” and Wet ‘n Wild “Party of Five Glitters”

It’s Mani Monday, and this week I’m wearing L’Oreal nail polish in Tangerine Crush with one very sparse coat of Wet n Wild’s Party of Five Glitters on my accent nails. This mani actually looks a lot better in person, and the pictures make this combo look way brighter than it really is.

I like L’Oreal nail polish a lot, because I’ve always been pleased with their formula. The color stays well and doesn’t chip for at least 5-6 days if applied with a good base coat topped by Sally Hansen’s Insta-dri top coat.

Disclosure: I bought this.

Do you have a recommended base coat? Would love your thoughts on something that would extend wear. (I tried browsing your ‘nails’ tag for a few pages but didn’t see anything….)

Oh sorry about that, it never occurred to me to say anything about the base coat 🙂 I don’t have a favorite brand, just use whatever I have on hand. Right now it’s SpaRitual Multitasker Base & Top Coat in One. And as a top coat I always use Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in the red bottle, it dries the nails in a matter of minutes!

Mani Monday: L’Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish “Tangerine Crush”

I got this nail polish many months ago when tangerine colors were “in”, and this was my favorite nail polish all summer. Well, now it’s all gloomy and rainy here in Michigan so when we finally got some sun for a split second I painted my nails in Tangerine Crush and snapped a few pictures.

In some shots my nails look like they’re on fire, and the shadows from the blinds create a cool ombre effect. I absolutely love the formula and the shades of Colour Riche polishes, I should really buy them more often.
