Weekly Favorites #13

Happy Sunday, everyone! What are your plans for today? I was thinking about catching up on my massive backlog, but decided to leave it for the upcoming weekdays instead; after all, weekends are best spent with friends and family. I think my husband and I will go visit his parents, and maybe play some board games and/or watch a movie. As for my favorites this week, I could only think of a few that came to mind. Here they are!

JINsoon Nail Polish in Nortalgia – The longest-wearing nail polish after Zoya, this one lasted over a week on my nails with zero chipping. It’s like it dries to a soft flexible layer that doesn’t get affected by things that normally ruin the look of my manicure: laundry, washing dishes, cooking, taking showers and baths, skincare etc… Love this stuff! I normally would never have bought such an expensive polish, but it came in my Vanity Affair Limited Edition Holiday Birchbox, and I’m glad I had a chance to try it. I will pick up more of these in classic everyday colors when I spot a good sale, because this formula is the bomb!

Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee – This is probably one of my most favorite fragrances, and definitely the best Vanilla scent of all times. I love that it can be easily layered with any florals and citruses for added complexity. I also like that it can be worn all year round, which is what I do 🙂 I keep this mini-spray in my purse at all times.

BITE Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Sucre – I purchased this lip crayon after doing some research and cross-checking some of my favorite blogs for swatches. Not only is Sucre a stunning color, the formula is just as wonderful as they say. It’s a matte lipstick shaped like a slightly larger version of a twist-up lip pencil, that glides on easily, thanks to a blend of waxes, butters, and essential oils. Unlike most matte lip products, this one is actually both moisturizing and long-lasting. I am already planning to purchase a couple more shades to add to my collection.

Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wearing Eye Shadow – This eye shadow is so pretty and so versatile! I wore it as an eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick so far and it looked great every time. I am surprised at how much I love it, because it’s not a color I would normally reach for, but it’s actually very flattering.
