This organizer comes in two colors – Warm White and Antique Ivory – and since I have ivory counters, I chose the latter to review. The size was just perfect to fit all of the products that I use every day, which freed up the space in my other organizers for more things that I reach for only once in a while.
The major wow factor is of course the clock. You have no idea how important it is to have a visible ticking clock in front of me, because I always take forever to get ready. Another amazing feature is the fact that this organizer is actually a two-piece item. Both parts can be used individually, and even hung on the wall, together or separately. I chose to place my organizer in the bathroom, which is also the place where I apply makeup every day. I’m lucky to have a fairly large counter, and even have a small chair there that I can sit down on.
The organizer has a nice tray-like compartment at the top, where I put all of my daily skincare. In the middle of the organizer you can find different-sized holes for all sorts of tubes and pencils, and as you can see, I didn’t even fill them completely. Just under the clock there’s an area with wide rectangular openings for powders, blushes and other compacts. There are tall and short square cups – two on each side, to hold brushes, other tools, lip glosses, mascaras, and more makeup pencils.
I just love the way Lips-n-Eyes Ultimate Cosmetics Organizer looks on my counter, and I’ve been very impressed with the quality as well. The material is very sturdy, unlike some cheaper makeup trays I’ve owned, and it comes securely packaged.
THE VERDICT
Remember, this is not an organizer that will fit all of your makeup, but it’s perfect if you don’t like to clutter the counter. It holds all of my daily essentials from makeup to skincare, and it has a very handy clock that helps me stay on track, so it keeps me organized as well.
