It’s the end of the month, which means I’m going to show you another round of empties. I only used up a small number of products, and there are also a couple I’m getting rid of because they expired. Here they are!
Nailtiques Cuticle & Skin Gel – I bought this cuticle cream almost 2 years ago, and haven’t used it much since. It was effective, but I just realized that I prefer a different brand better.
Whispering Willow Peppermint Whipped Shea Butter – Fabulous body butter, and really helped my dry feet and elbows. It’s one of the better indie products I tried, and I would even consider purchasing more if I wasn’t on constant skincare overload.
RejuvaSea Exfoliating Cleanser – With the recent ban on microbeads I just can’t see myself using this cleanser. It’s still half-full, but I’m going to toss it.
Pangea Organics Lavender & Thyme Facial Cream – I think this moisturizer is one of the best products in the brand’s lineup. It’s on the richer side, so I decided to use it at night, and it worked well at softening and rebalancing my skin.
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter – I feel like I had this tube of body lotion forever! I originally received it in my Ipsy glam bag, and used it very sparingly because I loved the fragrance so much.
SPA Technologies Marine Repair Cream – I honestly didn’t care much for this moisturizer, even though I read so many glowing reviews about it. Skincare is such an individual thing!
La Fresh Waterproof Makeup Removing Wipes – I love these wipes and stock up on them if I spot any at TJ Maxx. This waterproof variety is my favorite, and they really do remove all traces of makeup.
Dermalogica Precleanse – This sample inspired me to start pre-cleansing my skin, so now my daily cleansing routine includes three steps: wipes, oil cleanser, forming cleanser.
Pacifica BB Cream – This BB cream is nothing more than a tinted moisturizer that provides very light coverage. It comes in only one shade, and that shade didn’t match my skin tone so I’m tossing it.
Juice Beauty CC Cream – Same as Pacifica, this CC cream is also just a tinted moisturizer. I wasn’t a fan of the texture either, it was a bit patchy on me.
From The Lab Hair Mask #718 – I’ve been using this mask mostly on the tips of my hair, so it lasted quite a long time. We still don’t know if any company adopted the formula, so I can’t really tell you where this can be bought, but if you’re interested in discovering the latest and greatest beauty innovations without brand bias, you should check out From The Lab monthly subscription service.
B. Kamins Sun Defense SPF30 – This sample was sitting on my desk for months, and now I’m finally tossing it. It contains oxybenzone – an ingredient that I avoid in my skincare and makeup.
Well, that’s it! Not too many empties to show you today, but it’s still better than nothing. I would consider repurchasing some of these, but I love trying new things too much to invest in full-sized bottles 🙂
