DermStore Haul and Review: Holiday Swag Bag for Her and Kelly Teegarden Organics

A few weeks ago I randomly came across DermStore’s Mystery Box sale. At that point all of the boxes but two were sold out, so I just grabbed the one called “For Her” and a Kelly Teegarden eye cream.

I applied my BeautyFix code for $25 off $50, and sent a $20 mail-in rebate for MORE magazine subscription that I didn’t want. My whole order ended up being just $5 for $337!! worth of products as I later discovered.

Here is my deal breakdown:

  • Holiday Swag Bag for Her x1
  • Kelly teegarden Organics Vitality Rose and Cucumber Eye Cream x1 (comes with GWP Kelly Teegarden Organics Regenerate Goji Pomegranate Face and Body Polish)
  • Use your $25 off $50 code from BeautyFix (these are unique, sorry I can’t share one)
  • This purchase should have qualified you to receive a MORE magazine subscription. Use this rebate form to receive a $20 money back check. If you don’t receive your $20 refund after 4-5 weeks, and instead receive the magazine call 1-800-258-3350 and tell them you were supposed to get a rebate instead. They have good customer service and will ship your check asap.
  • Note: If you are not a BeautyFix subscriber you can still get a $10 off $30 code for being referred by someone. If you want me to refer you please leave your email in the comments below and I’ll send you one within 12 hours.

ME! Bath Bath Ice Cream in Lemon Verbena $9.00
I can never get have too many “me time” products, so of course I thought this bath bomb was perfect. I love everything and anything verbena and often buy products with it. The bomb is fairly big so I will probably split it in two parts so it lasts longer.

Kelly Teegarden Organics Vitality Rose and Cucumber Eye Cream $30
I’m trying to switch to a more natural and organic skincare routine and needed a new eye cream. This one caught my eyes because it had pretty good reviews on various websites and I just really like bottles with pumps.

Kelly Teegarden Organics Regenerate Goji Pomegranate Face and Body Polish $58
This was a gift with purchase and a very handy one since I’m almost out of my basq body scrub. Right now I’m searching for natural and organic skin care and body care products so I’m very curious to find out if this face and body polish is any good. Can’t go wrong with aloe, glycerin and chamomile though.

SpaRitual Organic Moisturizing Lotion in Instinctual $8.00
I really enjoyed the gingery scent of thos hand and body lotion and although it’s not as moisturizing as my current favorites it has the perfect fragrance for a perfect midday pick me up. All I have to do is spread a small around in my palms and inhale a few times. After I do that I feel instantly refreshed.

SpaRitual Nail Lacquer in Airhead $10.00
Airhead is described as a sheer shade of pastel pink. I haven’t swatched it yet but based on my previous experience with SpaRitual polishes this one should have great non-streaky creamy formula and last for at least one week.

Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray $29.00
Based on the look of the packaging this bottle has been discontinued for a while now. Also, I already received one of these in my BeautyFix order a few months ago so it will likely be given away. This spray works pretty well but I’ve only used it a few times at summer so it’s not something I’d repurchase.

Degree Women Fine Fragrance Body Mist in Classic Romance $4.99
I won’t be using this body mist and already found a new home for it. I’m more into perfume oils and eau de toilettes.

Cures Age Defyer Eye Cream $50.00
I would be happy with this eye cream if I didn’t want to switch to natural and organic products. But since I am switching, it wil be given away to my mom who is also a skin care fan like me. From what I’ve heard, this eye cream really stinks but works wonders.

Pur-lisse Pur-Lip Comfort Daily Lip Nourisher $16.00
I like that it’s petroleum-free, this is yet another change I’m slowly incorporating into my daily routine. I tried this treatment once and wow it really goes a long way! I feel like this tiny tube will last me a year even if I keep using it every day.

Decleor Source D’eclat Instant Radiance Moisturizer $16.56
Decleor is a higher end drugstore brand in Russia (and possibly Europe) along with Vichy, Embryolisse, La Roche-Posay, Avene and some others. I used to buy their products fairly often so I’m familiar with the brand. I love their rich formulas that make the skin glow from the inside.

iQ Derma Firmaceuticals Firming Body Gel $80.00
Normally wouldn’t mind helping out my body in restoring the firmness and elasticity to the skin after my shameless holiday pigouts. The reviews are mostly positive and I’m looking forward to getting my bod beach-ready!

Redpoint Transformative Dual Foundation in Medium $24.00
What I got is a travel-size version although it looks like it’s full-sized. It’s equipped with a cute mirror and two shades for face contouring. The reviews are very positive, and everyone says it doesn’t look cakey but still provides great coverage.

Vichy ProEven Total Dark Spot Corrector $2.17
My skin gets irritated from something in Vichy products so I’m a bit hesistant to try this sample.

… and last but not the least, BeautyFix Cosmetic bag.
It has no retail value and it’s made out of sturdy material that feels like it could be cotton. I don’t have any larger cosmetic bags so this one will be my first. Looking forward to using it!

Disclosure: I bought this.
